I so love Dan Vasc's lower registers; I sometimes crave them and am so glad they are prominent in the first part of this. (Love sang down that low just gets to me.) When Dan sang "peace" I heard Elvis Presley. It feels to me that what happened that night is often portrayed as a pretty little fairy tale; Dan and Victor do not leave that option open for us. Dan's vocals emphasize that it was the Lord of Heaven and Earth and Eternity born that night. "Let all within in us praise His Holy Name!" That's the way to sing "Christ is the Lord!" I so love Dan Vasc's lower registers; I sometimes crave them and am so glad they are prominent in the first part of this. (Love sang down that low just gets to me.) When Dan sang "peace" I heard Elvis Presley. It feels to me that what happened that night is often portrayed as a pretty little fairy tale; Dan and Victor do not leave that option open for us. Dan's vocals emphasize that it was the Lord of Heaven and Earth and Eternity born that night. "Let all within in us praise His Holy Name!" That's the way to sing "Christ is the Lord!" I think the part that impresses me the most is how expressive he was while trying to free his soul from a limited mortal body so he could express even more-so. I was totally floored already, yet he seemed to want to share even more so. I thought he was gonna pop out of his body at one point. God how I love his love for God, & for music.

What just happened was an experience!! It is so powerful and amazing!! I have heard this so many times and this song so needed Dan and Victor to put this metal version together and blow it away! By far, my favorite rendition of this song as it should be done...POWERFUL!!!
