Apprently Chronicles was suppose to do this, until they later announced that it wasn't actually "Canon" but only Canon from the perspective of the Titans. I think if they are going to take us into the Cosmic realm that has been loosely introduced in WoW it would be great if they could help us better follow the story. There is clearly a balance between good and evil, villain and hero, dark and light. But it is often lost because they aren't give us a linear story to follow. Or at the very least one that is easily followed. Blizzard please motivate me to want to play your games, not just because they are fun, but because I want to be immersed.
hey, little recommendation: if you can, use the feature where you can kind of put these time stamps/sections on the bar. Just makes it look better and easier to know whats going on
I think it's highly unlikely that we'll get a revamped Outland. Or anything related to Outland or Draenor at all. That'd be our fourth time in that place (including the Warcraft 3 campaigns). Though I confess Outland has a special place in my heart.
Doesn’t the DH class campaign involve Akama (either taking his shadow again, or having him serve you normally depending on who you chose as your lieutenant)
I agree Illidan is a dude that has always done what needs to be done no matter if its write or wrong and if he will be hated for his actions . He did everything to defend azeroth from the legion now he is the jailer of Sargeras how long till Illidan understands that Sargeras was doing the same but to defeat the void way more radically but still more or less the same reason winning a war at all means to protect what is most dear Azeroth for Illidan the universe for Sargeras :D
Yogg Saron colled Azeroth a 'Precious little seedling.' World souls may be planted into a planet before they erupt from it, instead of just originating inside the planet.
The cool thing about Draenor is that time advances differently (right?) So we could end up a couple hundred years in the future, maybe the dark portal is like a historic place where they have passed the story to their ancestors
I haven't commented on your videos before even though I have been watching them for a couple of years now. However this time you deserve a Big thumbs up for the great work you did on this particular video. Good job
When you started talking about going back to AU draenor, and the light conquest, I wondered if considering on the new exiles reach thing (or whatever the new starting zone is called) we see ogre using necromantic magics. Considering in Draenor we saw ogres use void so easily (although it was only Cho'gall to be fair) I wonder if the ogres could have survived by harnessing void/death magic (kind of using the lights polar opposite)?
Just a thought, if we go through space (and I think we will) we can start a bit closer to home. Like to the Moon. Elune isn’t just a deity, she’s also a place - a moon. It could be highly interesting.
Classic, BC, WotLK- Exploring original WC storylines. Cata, MoP, WoD- The Garrosh era. Legion, BFA, Shadowlands- Exploring the major cosmic players. Next 3 are likely focusing on the comic wars involving the groups set up in the last grouping. And I would guess be the end of WoW after 12.3.
I think maybe the leylines that run all over Azeroth could be used to open other portals with the help of the Blue Dragonflight. If the Dark Portal doesnt roar to life with an invasion of Yrel and the Lightbound or some other threat, it could possibly be used as a main source of travel with the power of the leylines to, adjust the frequency to wherever we might go. We still do have the Draenai spaceship from Legion and maybe other ships could be built.
If we battle Illidan again I want his new glaives Also gate ways to the cosmic lore (AKA new Magni) Medivh: Arcane realm Azshara: Void realm Illidan/Sargeras:Fel realm Calia/Xera: Light realm Malfurion /Green dragonflight:Nature realm
It be kool where we do an expansion where we rebuild Outland whole I mean saurfang mentioned it’s still dying. Why not a whole expansion where we try saving it?
theres nothing left of our timelines draenor, the titan spirit died ages ago, and the planet is literally in shambles, just a bunch of floating rock and debris going through space, it would take azeroth waking up to fix that
Hunter LoL true. But we have the pillars of creation what if it’s us looking through the twisting nether and trying to forge the broken pieces back together restoring the elements. We can even be fighting off that massive ogre empire that has evolved out there. Hell we can even find new races that found refuge on some broken pieces after the legion came.
Good video. I always enjoy when you make these original content stuff. Good theory crafting. Hope devs watch this to get some other ideas, even they forget some things and go oh yeah... we did leave that character off there didn't we.
How about an expansion where a mystery virus called Povid 2020 emerges from Pandaria, all boat travel is suspended and it crashes the AH. The peons in Orgrimar revolt over how Gammon was raided, occupy thunder bluff, burn the valley of honor and demand that all guards be disbanded.
I totally think a return to Outland would be a good play. Updating the TBC zones, TONS of nostalgia. Maybe have something to do with some cosmic force trying to use it as a gateway or something who knows
In the Shadowland's trailer, Sylvanas said Azeroth was our prison, and she was going to set us all free, then there are all those portals in Shadowlands so, I'm guessing Blizz could be actually preparing itself to create a new hub to start exploration in the future? I actually would like to see it growing, and changing with each new expansion, it's farfetched but fun imo
All this sounds fun, but whatever leads me to being able to play as an ethereal is what I want. Been waiting 13 years to play one and want it just as much as I did back then.
sargeras was always morally loose, that's why he was the titan god of war, i very much doubt he is going to become good again, especially not in our life time, if you think about it, he got corrupted by the fel slowly over millenia of fighting them, it would take just aslong to fix him, and even then i doubt he would be "good"
Oh boy! you got me stressed now Bellular. And there I was thinking that there are just a couple, maybe 4 expansions maximum left of content, waiting to explore. Now with your way of thinking, i am afraid that MAYBE i will die of old age and never see the conclusion of World of Warcraft :P
"If you drill down on the few bits of information that we sort of know about concretely with all of this.. there just is so much that could happen right. Just the fundamental characteristic of the cosmos as far as we are concerned here is that it has this massive scale."
"The Nathrezim are extremely ancient" - Incredibly overlooked fact. The nathrezim had cosmic knowledge that not even the titans possessed, i.e the void lords. I think it's a fair assumption that the nathrezim are as old or descend from a race possibly older than the titans.
World of Warcraft: The Great Dark Beyond; We return from the Shadowlands to see Azeroth completely destroyed by the dark titan Azeroth, corrupted by the sword of Sargeras. Now we need to travel the cosmos in order to find the Titans to help us reclaim our world and restore the world soul.
that sounds dumb, considering azeroth will be a titan of creation, she would be unbeatable, think about it this way, we have never fought something as tough as a full titan before, aggramar was at 5% of his normal power in legion when we fight him, and argus had been drained for millenia and still wiped us all out multiple times and would have finished us all off if the other titans weren't there, and once again he was extremely weakened, we would have no hope in lore to actually beat azeroth and it would require retconning a whole fuck tonne of content just to make it fit, nah uh bad idea
@@adamlaidler3998 Yeah maybe. Regardless I like the thought of having to abandon the planet for whatever reason and seeking the solution elsewhere visiting all different worlds.
I'd love to see some sort of consolidation of AU Draenor and Outland. Some powerful being/beings wanting the dying world of Outland to come back, or someone on AU Draenor having some reason to bring the two versions together, maybe Yrel conquers Draenor and wants more and instead of doing yet another portal invasion of Azeroth she sets her sights on Outland. Tearing the barriers between the two causing them to collide. Then we won't have to worry about the stupid AU stuff and it could all be happening in the prime universe, I'd be interested in seeing the two worlds collide either physically or metaphorically.
We can't really go to au draenor because its existence is limited. One of the books explained that alternate timelines just "fizzle out" at some point. This is mostlikely also what killed draenor in the maghar q line, the light doesn't just drain life.
I got to thinking. Locus walkers name. In Shadowlands we're called "Maw walkers" because of our ability to traverse the maw. The word locus essentially means a place where things happen. What it the locus walker's name means he can traverse the "Locus". My Theory is that the central place of the void realm, where the void lords dwell, is called the "Locus".
Blizz actually said the great dark beyond was not titan dominated and they were still searching it. So we should have room for many other races if they wish to go that route
13:03 Xandros, like Outland, was torn apart by portals and has joined with the Twisting Nether. Therefore the Xandros we saw can only have been the prime timeline Xandros, not AU Xandros. Though your point remains as far as worlds, of course. There are likely many to still explore.
0:45 i rather not it be a marathon, more like the peak of this arc with sylvanas and the jailer being the endgame antagonists. After this we could have a decline or back to earth type expansion, theres plenty of material to make a good story back in azeroth (like cata, and also a world update) but also use this as an incline to the next big cosmos journey and then so on. Having a “cosmic marathon” will really alienate the game more from the bare bones of what it originally was as journeys and adventures back on good ol azeroth.
if there is a titan realm i think it will be a long way away but how cool would it be if Azeroth herself take us there? as we need to go there for some reason in the future but need her to take us there
One thing that was a major disappoinment for me during Legion is how they pictured the army of light. Previous info made it sound like it was survivor across multiple worlds that banded together to fight the legion. But all we saw was 1 elf, 1 human a couple of brokens(who I think was not even part of that army to begin with but just new allies) than a couple of Ethereals and mostly draenei. Would have loved to seen different new races aswell as mentioned above aldrachi survivor and others? Would have given us further reason to explore the universe to seek them out. As Belluar said above would love to revisit our Outland. How would the mag'har of Outland and AU Draenor look at each other as?
The Nathrazim might predate the Legion, but so do the Draenei and he's going on like the Nathrazim are so much more ancient than any other race. Let's not forget that the Draenei are so ancient they have forgotten their own beginnings. I just wonder how many more ancient races are out there.
The next expansion will probably be heavily time themed (i.e. the infinite dragonflight, which still exists), after all, why introducing chromie time now? Why the hints that time flows different between shadowlands and when we will return. The next expansion will be perhaps a End of Time expansion, where our goal is to turn back whatever happened that lead to this end. But doing so creates a whole different azeroth. One where Arthas might never became the lich king, the horde never succumbed to the legion and other concepts? Legion and Old Gods still around, but with a twist. This allows Blizz to rewrite history in more ways then one and having easily access to the classic threats
I think Nyalotha was more a regional local dimension shared by only the Azerothian Old Gods, much like The Emerald Dream, not that there isn't a larger OG realm, since it be curious to learn of non-Azerothian Old Gods. .

I just imagined Illidan slashing up sargaras's face while hes stuck in that chair for all eternity
Illidan is essentially Sargaras's cat.
You mean like that scene in Reservoir Dogs?
@@theperfectbeing kinda more like blade dance spam on his face lol
Sargeras gets to play Illidan's target dummy for a long time.
Yo there , keep up the good work , love your vids
this vid was good keep it up bell.
callin it now: illidan becomes the new shadowlands jailer. remember how much of a gary-stu he was in legion? yeah. im prepared to roll my eyes
@enkadu007 What does that have to do with any of the comment?
@enkadu007 What?
enkadu007 everything alright at home, buddy?
enkadu007 holy shit you’re a genius. How’d you find out that secret information???
enkadu007 wait it’s a game? No fucking way! You god damn genius.
Good job
Ah, another Ancient Aliens video. Can't have enough of those.
OMG, I truly truly hope we get to see the how, why, where and when Illidan pisses off the Titans. Please Blizzard, please.
The Fresh Prince of the Great Dark Beyond
When you started talking about going back to AU draenor, and the light conquest, I wondered if considering on the new exiles reach thing (or whatever the new starting zone is called) we see ogre using necromantic magics. Considering in Draenor we saw ogres use void so easily (although it was only Cho'gall to be fair) I wonder if the ogres could have survived by harnessing void/death magic (kind of using the lights polar opposite)?
Illidan, Sargeras and rest of the Titans are drinking Beers and eating Penauts while watching Azeroth TV Novella 😂😂🤭
I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who has explained something from WoW with an example from Star Trek lol.
Xera tying him up... taste of paradise. I didn't know you had it in you Bro. best
Nice jacket! Also, vids on Sunday are awesome.
All I will say is Shadowlands is a great place to start seeding the lore with tidbits about other worlds.
Damn these thumbnails get me every time
If we battle Illidan again I want his new glaives
Also gate ways to the cosmic lore (AKA new Magni)
Medivh: Arcane realm
Azshara: Void realm
Illidan/Sargeras:Fel realm
Calia/Xera: Light realm
Malfurion /Green dragonflight:Nature realm
Ohhh, I def want more Medivh-such a cool character.
If you mean the green flame glaives, we did get them with the mage tower back in Legion for havoc DH
those glaives are now unobtainable, they were the havoc DH reward for the magetower as someone else mentioned
Gallywix: Realm Grinder
I got the glaives from the mage tower and it was the most stressful time in my whole time playing world of warcraft lol.
All Bellular's missing is an explorers hat...
Then his Indiana Jones transmog will be complete. LOL
I have question , where do the elements ( fire, water, air, and earth) go after being slained ?
Back to their elemental planes, but, if u kill them there, who knows ? Never found anything about it
@@RavenIV maybe they have anima just like the rest of the living things, who knows, interesting question my dude
It be kool where we do an expansion where we rebuild Outland whole I mean saurfang mentioned it’s still dying. Why not a whole expansion where we try saving it?
theres nothing left of our timelines draenor, the titan spirit died ages ago, and the planet is literally in shambles, just a bunch of floating rock and debris going through space, it would take azeroth waking up to fix that
We literally haven't been able to fix a giant sword in one zone of Azeroth, what makes you think we can fix a planet that's in a shit ton of pieces.
@@adamlaidler3998 sounds like an expansions worth or 2 of effort then
Hunter LoL true. But we have the pillars of creation what if it’s us looking through the twisting nether and trying to forge the broken pieces back together restoring the elements.
We can even be fighting off that massive ogre empire that has evolved out there. Hell we can even find new races that found refuge on some broken pieces after the legion came.
I've always wondered if Outland is near or in the Twisting Nether why time didn't act differently during BC
It was ripped apart by nether magic. It is not in the twisting nether technically.?
@@kyleganse4978 I remember in BC characters talking about how the areas of like Hellfire, Netherstorm were on the fringes of the Twisting Nether.
That Bridenbrad quest gets me every single time
Good video. I always enjoy when you make these original content stuff. Good theory crafting. Hope devs watch this to get some other ideas, even they forget some things and go oh yeah... we did leave that character off there didn't we.
Akama had his shade pulled back out of him by the Illidari lol.
To think that once all my warrior had to think about was dealing with some quillboars...
Finally started playing a DK and this is what I wana know
So much information, thanks bro
Us: “”Illidan! What are you doing back? And where are the Titans?””
Illidan: “”I ate them.... they were delicious!””
....what?
That's what they get for not bringing Maiev along to fill those boots
All of this ends fighting the void with illidan and Sargeras with us!!! The Final Redemption!!
sargeras was always morally loose, that's why he was the titan god of war, i very much doubt he is going to become good again, especially not in our life time, if you think about it, he got corrupted by the fel slowly over millenia of fighting them, it would take just aslong to fix him, and even then i doubt he would be "good"
Oh boy! you got me stressed now Bellular.
The Nathrezim are also extremely dead, thaks to our NE boy. He blew off their homeworld.
@@bgcvetan There's a lot of Nathrezim still alive and still out in the great dark beyond. They are most definitely not dead.
I'm still wondering about the figures on each side of the dark portle. It seems to be significant to the demons or those who use fel.
Nathreza was blasted to bits in Illidan
We can't really go to au draenor because its existence is limited. One of the books explained that alternate timelines just "fizzle out" at some point. This is mostlikely also what killed draenor in the maghar q line, the light doesn't just drain life.
I'm always picturing them playing cards in the pantheon spaceship
Wasnt Nathrezar destroyed by Illidan and the demon hunters in the Illidan novel?
@Bellular What about Yog? Think he will make an appearance or influence of some sort? Some background on his link to death and the curse of flesh?
Gaaah! Watching you talk abt this game, always makes me wanna go back and play!
Cool video, but! Did you imply that the Shadowlands were shaped by the Titans? Where do you get that from?
I got to thinking. Locus walkers name. In Shadowlands we're called "Maw walkers" because of our ability to traverse the maw. The word locus essentially means a place where things happen. What it the locus walker's name means he can traverse the "Locus". My Theory is that the central place of the void realm, where the void lords dwell, is called the "Locus".
Good video belluar, i did like this one.
"killing boars and doing chores" love it
dreadlords have always been my favorite WoW concept
They are the reason I got hyped for Wow after playing wc3. I always wanted to be a druglord.. I mean Dreadlord.
I would love to revisit Outland on a full xpac basis with black temple as the hub... but I'm nervous all we'd ever get was a patch or something :/
So excited!
4:00 Winter queen? Summer queen?
"I’m Mrs. White Christmas, I’m Mrs. Snow
I’m Mrs. Icicle, I’m Mrs. 10 below"...
Mab and Titania from Harry Dresden!!!
I'm picturing blizzard watching this and say "oh yeah, that would be a good idea for futur xpac"
if there is a titan realm i think it will be a long way away but how cool would it be if Azeroth herself take us there? as we need to go there for some reason in the future but need her to take us there
One thing that was a major disappoinment for me during Legion is how they pictured the army of light.
At the end, it means The Betrayer One is gonna be back when the time comes. Illidari
Bellular: will xera tie him up
Me: xera is kinky
The next expansion will probably be heavily time themed (i.e. the infinite dragonflight, which still exists), after all, why introducing chromie time now? Why the hints that time flows different between shadowlands and when we will return. The next expansion will be perhaps a End of Time expansion, where our goal is to turn back whatever happened that lead to this end. But doing so creates a whole different azeroth. One where Arthas might never became the lich king, the horde never succumbed to the legion and other concepts? Legion and Old Gods still around, but with a twist. This allows Blizz to rewrite history in more ways then one and having easily access to the classic threats
i love the sound of this, and it would work
I think Nyalotha was more a regional local dimension shared by only the Azerothian Old Gods, much like The Emerald Dream, not that there isn't a larger OG realm, since it be curious to learn of non-Azerothian Old Gods. .
we have dealt with the traitor Akama, his soul is tied to my Shade of Akama in my demon hunter order hall. he has no power anymore.
