As Jane obliquely reminded us, the "dojo" was the site of one of my all-time favorite Oxbox moments: Jane's unintentional chain poisoning of a load of non-targets, as each one came to investigate the death of the last victim and they dropped in a pile at the doorway. This game makes us laugh at some pretty grim events. :P
That's all I can think of whenever I go in that room - I just remember Jane begging people to, "Stop going in the poison room," even though she could've easily turned off the ventilation system instead.
More Hitman goodness from you guys and what a elusive target challenge to end the year on, definitely saved one of the best ever till last, thank you Jane, Mike and Andy.
We haven't had enough Hitman this year imo, still - better late than never. Maybe next year if we're graced with the Bond game we'll have that to fill the void.
Looks like 47 was on _The Quest_ to eliminate a _Hard Target._ Not a _Kickboxer_ or a _Cyborg,_ but a real _Lionheart_ like him. Andy opened all those vents to avoid there being _Nowhere to Run._ Then he tried to be a real _Street Fighter_ like it was a _Bloodsport,_ but after the glitching it was _Timecop_ to the situation and just go for a _Sudden Impact._ Truly, 47 is the only true _Universal Soldier._
I hate that Elusive Targets are one try only; they're so much fun, and a single try is never enough to really explore all the silliness. They'd be a huge draw if they were permanent parts of the game, too.
That's what the Elusive Target Arcade is for and JCVD's Arcade mission is currently free for all players. I used it for practice before I went after the "one shot" ET.
How does the developer pitch this to these celebrities? "Hi! Yeah, have you heard of the Hitman series of games? How would you like to be killed by Agent 47?"
He's got 3 kids that would have been the right ages to grow up with Hitman. Most of the time you see someone doing a weird kids or video game project. Their kids were usually fans.
Watching them play in this map reminds me that, often, when someone asks a series of questions I can hear Andy from the first time he played this map asking, "a dongle? What's a dongle? Are you a dongle?"
The movie titled "JCVD" where Jean Claude plays a version of himself who, depressed as his career cools off, actually starts to believe he can navigate a real bank heist and save the hostages, is absolutely wild. Anyone seen it?
OX hitman, The best Xmas gift we could have gotten. Especially with Andy on the controls inspecting the quality of the JCVD clones from various angles 😂
It'd be pretty funny if dev team actually had to built special model or special rigging for JCVD's model to works with split since I believe models in this game weren't built for this extreme pose like this.
The Quest and Time Cop are my favourite JCVD films because those were the two that I had on video as a teenager and watched multiple times. Any other films I just saw once or twice on TV. I can’t believe you thought you could dress as a clone. If it was possible then I assume everybody on the level would instantly become a noticer.
That intrusive thought is why the ET restriction can be so frustrating. You so want to replay the mission and see the rest of the cool things they've done with the mission.
Well done, Andy! I will admit to being morbidly curious about how the other option with the compactor would have looked, but perhaps a quick drop is better after the lobster method used earlier. 🙂
If this had been a 3 Ways to Play video, I’m sure Jane would have found a way to adopt the clones, fake their deaths and let them live on her farm upstate where they could dance and do the splits to their heart’s content
Yeah... i feel lime I cheesed this level with the bathroom of death. Once the reseachers the legitimately needs to pee goes it, just the 2nd sink overflowing and throwing wrenches/screwdrivers after wrench at people/clones checking on it
Top JVD movies. Kickboxer Hard Target Double impact Huge mention for the series where he plays himself and only showers in coconut water. I forget the name but it's amazing, all comes down to the splits. Has anyone else seen it?
I wish I would have watched this before I tried my attempt. I stayed with my escort after the meeting. Thinking he was on my side, I lured a guard into the room and took him out and the escort freaked out, bringing the whole facility down on me. Game over before it barely started.
If that was before the recent patch, you have a free redo. Due to the glitches, IOI did an extremely rare contract reset so that everyone who failed before the glitches were fixed can try again.
Dear Andy, only interactions marked with a red exclamation mark will cause suspicion or alarm. The golf ball and dongles were perfectly safe to pick up. Signed, a viewer screaming at my screen every time y'all forget one of the 18,000 things there is to know about this game ❤

"You'll need the tier 3 dongle to get through the vents"
Uses screwdriver to open vents.
Mike explaining that he likes Timecop because it has a scene where JCvD freezes someone's arm and kicks it off was so on brand 😂😂😂
That dancing clone was doing the goofy dance the JCVD did in Kickboxer

If you want distractingly leotarded, go look at the Wikipedia picture of Jules Leotard himself, I can tell you it wasn't cold in the studio that day.

Nice! I was hoping you’d play this. Such a great elusive target.
Three best Jean-Claude Van Damme films. 1) Hard Target, 2) JCVD, 3) Sudden Death. Also, I so love them playing Hitman.
