The things I do for my own riding mower I have outside is I have a big piece of wood that it sits on and a big heavy duty tarp. Number one the wood helps the mower 5x better for keeping the moisture out of the deck and other things from the ground. Two the tarp obviously keeps rain - wind out of its way so that's what I have been doing for a few years now and it has been perfect so far 🙌💯

Storing outside? Take the wheels off. Not too many will have the help to carrying it and putting on a trailer or in a truck bed.

I don't get it. If you have a big enough yard to require a riding mower, you have enough room to put up a shed. I've never stored lawn equipment outside.

Thanks for watching. You bring up a good point, and is true for most of the time. We have acquaintances that have a big enough yard for a small tractor, but only have a one car garage with no room for a shed. Another scenario has been to store a tractor at a hunting camp until a shed/garage could be built, just to name a few.
