I can’t imagine the heart ache the father went through. Not dismissing the suffering the child experienced. That kid will keep his father going on the good path no matter what now. He is lucky his face wasn’t ripped off or worse.
Kid was in shock and did not realize what happened. Overall a kid who is in a playhouse, doesn't realize to move or even scream when he is getting run over by a lawnmover. Doesn't probably realize his own situation. Hard truth.
Its been 9 years since your tragic accident but i know from experience you probably have not gotten over it yet. My grandson, at the time of his accident, was 8 yrs old. He and his mother came in for their vacation at Pappap's and MawMaw's. Their first day here my wife an daughter went shopping and me and my grandson were going to have some pool time. We finished up pool time and I told him to stay on the pool deck while I pulled the solar cover back on. Next thing i know is he had some how gotten his leg caught between the pool cap and the deck and his little leg was in a 'U" shape. I had failed to protect my little guy. Months of healing, doctors visits and tons of prayer followed. It hurts my heart to even write about it but to me, it was my fault that he got hurt. Everyone keeps telling me it wasn't my fault and I know that but my heart and head tell me different. Every once in a while I will pass the pool in the exact location that i remember seeing my little guy screaming for PapPap to help him get his leg loose and I will almost vomit. So, I know how you must feel about your child being injured. But we serve a gracious, loving, forgiving, powerful God. Today my grandson is totally healed and healthy for which I am totally thankful for. Now we have got to get PapPap to accept and realize that things are good thanks to the Lord and he can try to put it all behind him and move forward. God Bless you and Praise the Lord both our families have a great support group who know how and believe in prayer.
I struggle with faith because of so many battles I have faced through life. I'm still struggling. I'm lost but I have not given up. Your story about your son is amazing and has to be nothing short then a miracle. I guess I will know sooner or later if all I thought was God really was. Mostly why all the bad that seems to be unending. I hope your son is doing well and he grows up to be a man worthy of the life he has been given.
Have you asked Jesus into your heart..sometimes we try to do things on our own but Jesus said to come to Him with our burdens for He cares for us, Matthew 11 verse 28-30 but we have to come to Him and repent of our sins and invite him to be Lord of our life..He will give you a joy and peace that passeth all understanding and even though you might still have some struggles through life He will never leave you nor forsake you. Deuteronomy 31:8🙏
It was the neighbor who asked for prayers on Facebook. He was letting those folks know that their prayers were heard. You Suck!!! get a life! Stop hating!!! Maybe even pick up a bible?
Poor little guy. I can feel the fathers pain and I hope he comes to terms with what happened and isn't too hard on himself. We all see he loves his boy and they have a great relationship. Good luck to this family. On another note the mom seems way too concerned about getting attention on Facebook.
Imagine almost killing your son but even if he didn't die his son would have to live with the things that happened in the accident for his whole life, and I think as a parent knowing that you put your child through so much pain would be so awful 😭 the kid is a legend
Before I watch, I already know I watched this. Something about bringing someone onto somebody's porch & no one died. But I'll watch again or at least skim. Although I should feel terrible for watching recycled sh. 🤔🤷
I knew a girl that was also run over by a mower. Her father did it, he didn't see her when he hit her. He also saved her life, due to having been active duty military and used the training they gave him that ultimately saved her life.
This video hit me like a train. As a father of a lot of children and two toddlers I couldn't even imagine being responsible for doing something like this to one of my kids. I feel absolutely horrible for the poor child and his dad. Gosh that guilt must be almost unbearable. But it should be a lesson for every parent to watch closer to where your children are at all times especially while doing dangerous activities. I know I am. Bless this family and that little boy.

The mind is a powerful thing. Mind over matter is no joke. Especially with children who haven't been subjected to the negative thinking that becoming an adult brings. When I was 15 I got hit by car skateboarding and broke my knee really bad. My doctor told me it was the worst leg break he's ever worked on in his 20+ years. Said it would take years to just walk like a normal person and I might never run or skate for a very long time if at all. He set me up with a physical therapist but my stubbornness didn't allow me to attend one session after my first initial exam. To me they weren't moving fast enough. One month later with a full metal brace I was out with my buddies on crutches trying to skate again. When I told my doctor he told me if I didn't stop skating he'd have to find me a new doctor. 1 and a half years later I was sponsored by a local skate shop and skating in competitions. I visited my old doctor and he was in complete disbelief. He even half joked that I had a twin and was messing with him lol he said he still shows his students the x-rays to this day to show them how extreme breaks can get and how well they can heal but I don't know if he tells them the part about me not attending a single therapy session lol
🙏🏿🙏🏼🙏🏾🙏🏽 My prayers go out to the boy and his father. I can't imagine how bad the dad felt. I hope he and his sin are doing better today and I hope Brett's dad no longer lives with terrible guilt. 😢
Only thing making me cry is seeing grown adults thinking a ghost made him better instead of the extremely skilled surgeons and the healing ability of the human body. It would've had the exact same outcome even is Ruth (96) in slovakia didn't pray. Good job doctors, and the human body is amazing.
This hits home for me. I'll never forget holding my 6-year-old daughter in my arms walking from our neighbor's house on a snowy night. We had such a good time that night that we were being silly chasing each other and laughing. As we were approaching the house I picked her up and carried her, and as we turned into the driveway I hit the only small patch of ice and my feet completely flew out from under me. The side that I was holding her is the direction we fell, and I couldn't react or twist good enough to prevent her head from bouncing off the concrete. I watched as it happened and I'll never forget that colder than cold chill and shock that flashed through my body. It knocked her unconscious for a moment and when she came to she was crying. I freaked out and tried to rush her inside. My hands were shaking so bad I couldn't get my key in the door and out of frustration I kicked it open and took her in the bathroom to examine her head. No blood but I could tell something was wrong, especially after she threw up. My worst fear was confirmed when we arrived at the hospital and the cat scan revealed a brain bleed. My heart sank so bad I felt like I couldn't breathe. How could this happen I thought? I'm her dad and it's my ultimate responsibility to protect her from anything, and yet even with her in my arms, I couldn't save her. It was my fault. I should have seen the ice, my reflexes should have been sharper, I should have been more careful, I should have been prepared, and yet I wasn't. And because of me, my daughter was stuck in a small town hospital needing to be life-flighted to a city 3 hours away and couldn't because of the snowstorm. Eventually, everything turned out okay, but I'll never forget how badly I wished it could be me instead, how helpless I felt to do anything, and worst of all that it was me, not someone else watching her, but that it was ME that failed her. She survived, got the surgery she needed and healed up perfectly, but I do think back on it from time to time and feel gratitude that it wasn't worse.
I feel for you. Truly. I’m a Mom of 3 and can only imagine your fear and guilt. It’s bone chilling. Despite it being 100% accidental, you’ve beaten yourself up ever since. But you know what? Many years ago while camping I met a family camping next to me from Connecticut that had two small sons, the father said he was a groundskeeper for a golf course. The one son they kept a close eye on him and more protected of him, then I noticed his mangled hands looking like he got caught in the belts of a deck!
lmao maybe some people realize his stupidity if he was paying more attention then his son wouldn't have gotten hurt and maybe if he gotten off of the mower and moved the play house instead of pushing it with the mower. and God had nothing to do with his recovery he is just lucky that his body was able to heal itself2
Also, I don’t disagree with asking people to pray for him, it’s just not the appropriate time to go on Facebook and ask. Wait until he is hospitalized. Then go to Facebook for support.
Once I cleaned up broken glass in my house, and put it in a garbage bag to take out. Not long after, my 5 year old daughter fell on it, slicing her arm completely open. I felt terrible guilt for leaving the bag there. We rushed her to the ER and the stitched her up and she is fine now, just an arm long scar on her right arm. I cant imagine how guilty this dad feels. I would give him a hug if I could.

Almost 2 years ago my mom tripped on a rock and the lawn mower came backwards on her foot. The surgeon said that she was less than a millimeter from hitting the major artery running in her foot. She almost lost her foot but they saved it. We were so worried about infection setting in, they didn't mention that in this video but that's another very scary part about these kinds of accidents. I hope he doesn't blame himself, you did what you could with the information you had at the time. Thank god he didn't lose his son because I can't imagine how I'd forgive myself if I did that.

I agree with you
Have you asked Jesus into your heart..sometimes we try to do things on our own but Jesus said to come to Him with our burdens for He cares for us, Matthew 11 verse 28-30 but we have to come to Him and repent of our sins and invite him to be Lord of our life..He will give you a joy and peace that passeth all understanding and even though you might still have some struggles through life He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Deuteronomy 31:8🙏
Yeah just remember, without faith you ain't got no community around you and it sucks. That's what it's really for.

Poor little guy. I can feel the fathers pain and I hope he comes to terms with what happened and isn't too hard on himself. We all see he loves his boy and they have a great relationship. Good luck to this family. On another note the mom seems way too concerned about getting attention on Facebook.
The dad must have felt beyond terrible
So Be, he literally said “I killed my kid”, not trying to make me sound like I’m saying that in a mean way
Imagine almost killing your son but even if he didn't die his son would have to live with the things that happened in the accident for his whole life, and I think as a parent knowing that you put your child through so much pain would be so awful 😭 the kid is a legend

What a brave young kid. What a hero. And the medics are pure genius.
