Ah I didn't realise they'd done that! Its enough of a pain with the single fare only thing from Leeds as you lose the return half flexibility! They've also removed off peak (not super off peak) tickets!
Absolute scam basically removing super off peak too!

I get the impression they only want advanced bookings as they get the money up front and walk ons are not predictable, so they are doing their up most to discourage walk ons. Thanks for watching
