Great review. I have the smaller "Tourist" version. No water pouch. I think 8L. My intention was to use as a day hike bag. First thing I did was get rid of that rubber Pull tab for the CCW area. Carry on your person not in a bag. I added a Maxpedition Hook and Loop pouch which worked well. The grab handle which I thought would be good left me wanting an actual handle. My bag does not sit up. The pockets are tapered not square which for some items is a challenge. The padded back panel which I thought would be good turned out to bounce off me as I walked. Kind of a waste of a lot of space and material. You can add a ballistic panel inside the area with Velcro. You then use the pass thru pad as a type of shield. Kind of dumb. The straps are not removeable. Overall construction is good. I put it in my At Least they Tried box.
I agree with a lot of what you said. I’ve used the tourist as well. Doesn’t have a flat bottom so could never stand up. Loved the construction but was also heavier than I wanted it to be for a bag of that size (I think it’s 6L).
The weight of the bag is 2 lbs, 12 oz! Not over 3 lbs like I said in the video☺️
