I'm a 70 year man and my first experience of england was the 1966 world Cup final and the anticipation was amazing everyone talking about it and we won but since we have disappointed that is the reason there is less anticipation of england these days Chris coys

Craig is correct that Ange won't purchase any player he believes won't fit into his system. Adding to Craig's sentiment Ange keeps repeating that the players he chooses have to be of good standing, have his beliefs in the style of football, and want to play for Spurs. Ange has also said that he would rather purchase two reasonably-priced players than one expensive player. With that information, I very much doubt he would buy Ivan Tony, Conor Gallagher, or any other player who wants to hold out for other options.
Levy has links with Simon Jordan who is ex Palace so maybe an Eze deal is bubbling in the background. Paying a sizeable fee up front is a cashflow issue. You can still amortise the costs over the life of contract. So cash is king in the case of Eze. Toney has shown he can be a squad player with England and is on it when needed. That answers a massive question mark against him.

We have so many backups for either wing but only one defininate starter in Son. Would it not make sense to sell the most valuable in Deki to put towards a standout more natural winger?
Doue would be the ideal signing to shadow and eventually replace Son
As for signing a No 9, unless there's a player who fits Ange's style to a tee, then I can't see anyone coming in this summer. I hope I'm wrong

got an uneasy feeling that Levy is/will continue to hang out for the last Euro in every deal and that will hinder what Ange is trying to achieve but the flip side is that prices drop a la Toney with his value dropping. its almost Russian Roulette - who blinks first.
There's no way Spurs will dump £60m on the table in one hit for Eze. It would totally screw the club as far as FFP is concerned, and Palace knows this
Prediction: levy won't back Ange, Ange won't win anything at Spurs and will be fired this season or next
