    In short, I am satisfied with Bose QC45, but they are useless for the calls or any use of microphone when background noise is present. Good review. 👍

    Bose management wanted to push the new NC700 into market but many customers prefer the QC35 design, the Bose accountants demanded a QC35 alike product that will sell well, thus these half baked QC45 got released.

    Just purchased the QC 45's and I love them. Very few of these types of headphones are good for making calls so if you are using it for that purpose, you will probably be disappointed. I use these headphones for music and noise canceling in the gym and for traveling. Very happy.

    I've just purchased the QC45 headsets and am very happy with them. Great sound and comfort.
    However I cannot get them to work with Bluetooth on my Windows7 PC. There seems to be a problem with Drivers and "Googling" provides only confusion. No answers.
    Bluetooth works with Sony WH-CH150. QC45's work well on on Bluetooth via iPad.

    Excellent review! I came here to check the mic, and it does not seem to be that good. The voice quality is not natural or professional.
    Also at 7:25, the review says boss stopped providing the aeroplane jack. This is a good thing and will protect you from injury. If you are connected to the Aeroplane sound and the announcement comes in, it is so loud that it can potentially deafen your ears (remember the headset cancels all the background noise, and you hear the announcement in full volume in it).

      That's a great question which I will definitely be answering in my upcoming video ;) So I'd say stay tuned, but a quick sneak-peek answer: I'd personally go for the QC35 II in that case.

  • @adamr8628

    Better to buy QC25 And run it through a quality bluetooth adapter/amp. You will have a massive increase in sound quality and a huge drop in price. And it even has a replaceable AAA battery, for longitivity and convenience. QC25 is the real upgrade, and many people miss that point.

    I have upgraded my Headphones from QC25 to QC45. I had my QC25 for over 4 years. After wearing the QC45 for more than 20 min, I start experiencing pain on my ears due to the clamping force .I am not sure if this clamping force will come down over a period of time. I did not have this issues on QC25 which I wore for more than an hour. I am in dilemma if I should have the QC45 hoping that the clamping force will come down over a period of time or should I return it .Any thoughts on this. Do anyone feel the same.

    • @samcrackers
      @samcrackers 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The QC25's felt more loose because over the time you've owned them they did loosen up. The QC45's feel clamped on because they are brand new. The QC25's probably felt tighter when you first put them on. I suspect you'll get used to them.

    • @RawansReviews

      Hard to answer as "good bass" is subjective. I'd say it has decent bass, but not overpowering. So it's not bass heavy. There is an EQ setting in the app though that allows you to increase bass. Best I would say is to try it yourself and see if it lives up to your definition of 'good bass'. Cheers.

    How come no reviwer ever complain or review about ear cushions. Those on Bose wear off within a year and no replacement is available by them. Its costly to replace if available or one has to buy knockoff. This is a major issue with bose head phone.

    • @RawansReviews
      @RawansReviews  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Fair point! I never could test longevity properly because I don't have a single daily-user pair of headphones, I have quite a few that I alternate, so I never really put on the same kind of stress on them that a normal user would. Having said, the ear cushions on my QC 35 did start wearing out, but that took a few years. To my knowledge Bose does sell an ear cushion kit, but it indeed is pricey--and naturally, knockoffs often don't feel as comfortable, from my experience. But very fair point, thanks for leaving the comment.

    • @abhi4u20
      @abhi4u20 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@RawansReviews Ya but usually people have only one AnC due to price. Ear cushion are subjective as it will depend on environment and sweatness of a user. Bose or Sony both don't consider this point. Bose is worst if you open the cushion and see the ear cushion is just cheap resin glued.

    Don't listen to this video about the microphone part. The noise cancelling algorithm on the microphone is terrible. No one can ever hear me when speaking. It changes erratically from barely audible to slightly audible to completely inaudible. And there is no way to fix it, from what I have read all over the internet. The microphone is completely unusable.
