Winch Launch and some local Flights on a Schempp-Hirth DuoDiscus Sailplane over the Black Forest in Southern Germany. The Airfield is Hütten/Hotzenwald EDSF near Basel.
Wasn't the best Weather we've ever had. We actually tried to get to the Feldberg Mountain (highest in the Black Forest at 1493 m) about 30 km away but didn't make it at all. But that Airfield isn't the best to get away from after a Winch Launch because the nearby Thermals are quite unreliable. The 500 m Drop after Runway 29 allows very nice Ridge Soaring though. And the Vario sounds deeper than most others I know.
