Judge: Media Allowed at Carly Gregg Trial | Teen Shoots Mom Murder Case

- 14-year-old Carly Gregg was back in court where a judge ruled that cameras will be permitted in the courtroom at her upcoming trial. Prosecutors say the teen shot her mom, Ashley Smylie, twice in the face and once below the chin on March 19 before inviting a friend over to look at the body.

I don't look at what the client is wearing at all. For the most part, we know that that is not the way they dress on a daily basis and we already know that it's the lawyers that tell them how to act and wear regardless... So I look at what exactly happened, the proof.
Where was the dad of the friend when she shot her step father, still sitting in the car? Did her friend run out the door terrified to her daddy? I don’t get it

Yep. Something sure did set this kid off, and I doubt it’s psychosis; it’s more likely to be that Mommy was taking away privileges (i. e. her phone and vape paraphernalia) that made this brat angry. I’m so, so tired of people making excuses for those who are just plain evil.

This happened a few away streets from our house 😣 I can assure everyone that she looked like this the day she did this. You can see previous videos from the day of. Mother ans Step dad could have been abusing her in such a way she turned on them. Doesn't make you a person with Psycho Mental Health issues there is a deep seated root here that was dramatic to her.
Why do some always have to suggest abuse, even when it hasn’t been suggested or even mentioned by law enforcement, schools, family members, even the defense themselves. It doesn’t always have to be abuse. There were no signs at all of abuse and it hasn’t been brought up. Maybe she truly is just a bad seed or plain crazy. I mean, she called a friend to look at her mom’s body?? That does not sound like any kind of trauma I’ve ever heard of.
