Our new RAV 4 Prime XSE has the identical (as you stated) software/displays/options. And with the, sadly occasional child/pet deaths in the summer due to heated up interiors this will be a life saver....well done Toyota. For us as retired educators with two grandkids and three dogs it's personally appreciated.
Thanks for this review. The lack of additional powertrain choices is interesting... I'm curious to see if Toyota expands those options in the future. Thanks again! :)
I routinely get 38-40 mpg on a tank in a FWD. Averaged about 19 with the V6 Honda since I do a lot of city. Once you get used to 550 miles+ range and using half the gas, it's hard to go back.
I have a 2021 Sienna and never use the tuning knob. The changes with digital instrument screen, larger screen, and wireless CarPlay are nice but not sure it’s enough for me to upgrade especially with the bump in MSRP. The lack of heated steering wheel on the limited is unfortunate since our 2016 Sienna had it. TSS 3.0 should also be added.
Touch screen isn't too large. Too bad that the volume knob was lost. I don’t like having to use a screen while driving and it isn't always possible to stop or pull over.
I'm glad that my van days are over. I love pulling onto the highway in my Mustang. Lol around town there aren't many options but pulling onto the highway is a thrill 🎉
Maybe I'm unusual but really wish they had a simple version Sienna without all the high tech clap trap! There's already too many screens in my life as it is! The huge screen above the dash line and obnoxiously huge center counsel are the biggest turn off's to me for this vehicle and they seem to just keep making it worse! It's obnoxious! Whatever happened to elegant and functional simplicity? Can't even climb into the rear seats to attend to the kids when the weather is bad! Terrible! I'm looking to upgrade my well used up 2007 Sienna but I honestly like the 07 better! It has far more cargo room and space. Center seats are removable. You can climb into the rears seats from the front. It had a more wide open feeling without all the clap trap! It feels like a van! I buy a van to be a van not a van trying to identify as a car! Toyota how about a simple more traditional Sienna non-hybrid van that most struggling families these days can actually afford. A kind of Corolla for vans! Not everyone likes all the clap trap and they just want a reliable simple work horse. Thank-You

I dont get how suvs are the dominant vehicle market when vans do a better job at eveything they do
@@CaptainCJ97 Because people have sensitive egos
Would take a van all day over an SUV.
Vans are uglier
Minivans are for dorks
I would take a van over a truck 90% of the time.
That magnetic grey on some TE37s would be gangster. Seriously love me a good van.

Thanks Matt for a detailed review especially on the pricing.
The one to get is the XSE and add the XSE Plus Package to your order.
Nice review Matt! I would def buy one of those if the price was right!

I have a car vac that plugs into a power port and a simple cooler will keep drinks cool. So to me those features are not a big deal.

That fridge box and vacuum make it a mobile home pretty much lol
Can the safety feature be turned off if my dog is in the car when I run in the store?
Unfortunately VA dealers are not allowed to sell the Prius Prime. I know that it's odd but if I didn't keep my Mustang then I'd buy a Prius Prime.
Good review. But not having ac/heated seats is a deal breaker for me.

Why isn’t anyone reviewing or showing a XLE model?
Because Toyota didn’t have any at this event.
@@euroalpha coz you'll find that at every school, costco, strip mall etc anyway
@mattmaranmotoring thanks for the reply Matt. If you can find one, I think it'll be something alot of people would watch.
@@hardyk2010just like any model. Everyone's making the same videos.
You wouldn’t want to see the xle or Le. The interior would be significantly worse in every way from comfort to materials
The T24A-FTS with 8-speed or even the Hybrid Max would've been a great improvement to make this minivan powerful enough.

Great review. It’s a great van but I can’t say no to the vtec odessey 😂
