I had a similar sized tank for my turtle of the same size (he is a fully grown male, so also 7.5in), but i wasn't able to fill it all the way due to the basking setup i used and it felt so small for him (yours looks really good for her though!), so i recently upgraded to a 120 gallon :)
also surprised by the price increase (might aslo be location currency differences) because my 120 gallon tank was $1k, and you were able to get the 75 for only $75 !
This tank may be beautiful for people, but it could be more comfortable for the RES. I experimented with several water levels and found there needs to be a combo. 1) they require ample width and length to swim and 2) they love a second tier so they can stand with their nose out. It’s natural. I also don’t agree with the conditioner. The chlorine dissipates quickly, especially with aeration. Why would adding one chemical to rid another be better than simply waiting a few hours to add water? I am glad to see the substrate. I find RES’s enjoy playing in my sand. Glass bottoms may be convenient, but they aren’t optimal for the RES. Bottom line, we should put the animal first. I think it’s our responsibility, as pet owners, to create an environment where the animals are most comfortable, and our convenience or aesthetics should not be a priority.
