Thunderbolt greatness! Hangar 9 P-47D 20cc

New to me Hangar 9 P-47D Thunderbolt 20cc. It has a DLE20 and HiTec servos. An 8 channel Spektrum receiver. I started with 2 oz of lead added to the nose to get the book CG. I have sense removed that lead and she flys great. It now has a 15x8 wood prop.

Great job! Nice flying. Just got this plane. I have the silver version. It has electric for now but I might replace with Saito 20cc. My hangar 9 Corsair does well with the Saito 20cc

@@mikemetz8016 Satio is always a great choice. I’m running the DLE 20 as that’s what it came with. Good luck on the conversion if you go that route.
