    This is a good video and a really good channel. You don't get too many electrical troubleshooting videos taught as clearly as this one or some of your others. My problem is just one of my 2004 350Z cooling fans is not working. After watching some of your videos I now know how to determine whether it is a relay problem, ipdm or ecm. Thank you. I have been dealing with and looking for answers to this problem for months. You are the first. NEW SUBSCRIBER!

      My fx35 has same issue. Passenger side cooling fan won’t turn on even if I turn the ac on. If I turn on ac while stopped temp gauge starts to go up. It doesn’t overheat while driving with or without the ac on. If this was your issue, did you solve it?

    my 2007 G35's Temp gauge isn't working, and my cooling fans aren't ether, Does the gauge signal the fans to come on at a certain temp? Does the gauge have fuse/relay? Thanks much!

    How did you manage to get the relays off of the ipdm? Is there a clip on them that has to be pressed down or somthing? They will not come off

      You can try the Nissan IPDM self test. Turn ignition switch ON, and within 20 seconds, press driver's door switch 10 times (close other doors). Then turn ignition switch OFF. Then turn ignition on.

    My fans work and cool the engine but not the condenser until the fans come on high. They are coming on late or when I only wet the condenser. Could it be the relays ?

    one of the Fans on my 2006 g35 doesnt spin full speed, like the second one. and sometimes water temp goes higher than normal, especially on hills. maybe it is relay problem? or I have to change the fan motor

    There's a tsb for my 08 sentra that you absolutely shouldn't remove or replace relays in the IPDM. My cooling fans aren't coming on when they should. Nissan says to replace the entire IPDM.

    • @valeriumoscalu7580
      @valeriumoscalu7580  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      As long as you know what are you doing , you can fix the problem without replacing the whole IPDM, but if you are not sure how to doi it and what exactly is the problem then is better to replace the whole IPDM, and they are not so expansive, something can be cheaper to replace than to fix them!!!

    • @valeriumoscalu7580

      Just pull them if they are coming to hard then maybe they are rusted, also you can find a special plastic tool for removing them!

    I've had my 07 g35 for a few years now. Every summer it starts overheating when the ac is on. I noticed the passenger side fan wouldn't turn on. I checked the fan motor and swaped it on the other side it worked replaced relays on the idpm fan still didnt work. I'm planning on buying a idpm on ebay hopefully that fixes the problem. The serial numbers pretty close to mine. I hope this finally fixes the problem. I was told the idpm wasnt sending signal. We see how it goes

    • @valeriumoscalu7580
      @valeriumoscalu7580  4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can check with a multimeter if the ipdm is receiving signal from the ECU, when engine is hot it should receive signal from ECU to send signal through the relay to the fan Motors, if the idpm is receiving signal but is not sending it to the fan it mean the problem it's in the idpm if relays and wires are good of course!!!

      Hello, i have the same issue on my fx35. I bought three relays for the cooling fans on eBay. Replaced them all and checked the fan motors which are working both sides. The passengers side cooling fan is not receiving power when I turn on ac, but the fan motor works when i give it 12 volts. Did you replace the ipdm?

    That made no sense at all...what setting is your meter on
    .why do you think its your ipdm? I would think its your relays or fuses before the ipdm ..what happened to checking the relays for any resistance??.you dont have to record doing all 3 relays .you could just checked the 1st one and then say repeat the process for the other 2👎👎

    • @valeriumoscalu7580
      @valeriumoscalu7580  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The fact the you are so smart and watching this video made no sense too! It can't be the fuse because if it's the blown fuse the fan is not going to work at all! Also I tested all fuses and all good! I tested all the relays also we're good! Why ipdm, because the contacts for the relay responsible for the fan had week contacts with fuse box and from vibration while driving sometimes was a contact and the fan was working sometimes no contact and it wasn't working, I tightened the contacts inside the fuse box and after didn't had any problems! Yes this was my problem 101%!!! Any other questions mister ?

      And I did this 3 times for 3 relays for People who need too see it step by step! Not for you! If you don't like something you can skip it and that's it! But if you know any other way how to do it better feel free to write it , maybe it will be helpful for someone! Everything is simple!
