    This is very close to my dream setup. Will take a few years but just knowing that it's possible is awesome! :D

      Thanks. I've been a contract photographer and videographer for USA Today for 15 years. It's been my side gig.

      Thanks. These are the first MT products I've had, and I'm impressed.

    I feel like the center stick mount could fit with a little metal file work :P

    My question is where is the review of the yaw 2 pro? It's been 3 months since you recieved it. I'm a KS backer and worried I'll never see my chair if I would have received mine I'd put that thing together. Was it just impossible for you to assemble with what they sent you?

      Ken, fair question. Life has taken over, and I have been spending much more time on my day job, and traveling for same. In addition, I have experienced issues with the Yaw 2, and this is delaying my review.

      @@VRSimWizard Maybe make a short one about those issues? Could come in handy for us guys who still wait on theirs.

      Just finished the construction of my yaw 2 pro, assembled fairly easily very little problems. I’m using SRS with msfs it is amazing!!

      @@bradtucker6143 , glad to hear it! I'm finally getting around to working with mine. Had a number of things get in the way.

      @@VRSimWizard hope it goes well. I had to make a few trips to the hardware store for different sized screws as the provided ones were not the right size and the attachment of the foot plate was not threaded correctly but sheet metal screw’s worked perfectly. No buttkicker attachment so I made my own, and attaching my own seat took a little doing. Started right up and found my network a few “no sensor found” errors but restarting fixed that. Their game engine works with msfs but is pretty basic, but SRS works great! Get takeoff acceleration, landing de acceleration and braking and great turbulence. I felt it was worth the $52. Have fun! I’ll be interested in what you think.

    I notice these come w/o the chairs. Where do you get a chair for them?

    • @VRSimWizard
      @VRSimWizard  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Yaw 2? It can be ordered with or without the chair/seat. The seat shown in this video is the seat provided by Yaw VR. I believe it costs around $200 to add the seat, but I'm not sure. If you already have a seat, or want something other than what Yaw VR provide, you can mount almost any office or gaming chair seat. There are details on the Yaw VR web site.

    Wire tangle is going to be a nightmare.

    • @VRSimWizard
      @VRSimWizard  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Most users are employing wireless HMD’s. Those, like me, with tethered headsets, are limiting yaw movement to a level that reduces cable twist. I’m also using a KiwiDesign overhead cable management system.

      @@VRSimWizard the problem with wireless is the latency. Once they get to the point of minimal latency that I wouldn't notice, I'd definitely switch over.

      @@UnfiItered , sure, I understand the latency, which is one reason I am also waiting on the next generation wireless, plus I still love my Reverb G2's image quality.

      @@VRSimWizard you can use a wireless usb setup for the hotas. thats what i use on my yaw2. here is the video explaining how. th-cam.com/video/ZTIGlutAzR8/w-d-xo.html. i dont notice any latency on my quest 2. i still prefer to use my pimax 8kx for pc games that im not using 360 yaw on for the fov and clarity.

      @@4wheeln4fun interesting. Thanks. I have a 13 slot powered USB on my Yaw 2, and wireless trackball and keyboard.
