"A balsam plant can regrow its leaves after being eaten by a goat because it uses stored energy in its roots and stems, and can sprout new leaves from tiny buds on the plant."
Homework answer and lots of love from my side for aishwarya ma'am and byju's team ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Because The plant, being a balsam, has stored food in its stems and roots. This stored food, in the form of starch, sugars, and other nutrients, allows the plant to survive for a few weeks without leaves. The stored food is used by the plant to sustain its basic metabolic processes, such as respiration, until new leaves can grow.
Yes!!!Mam
I like the session very much ❤
👍🏻
Name- lakshman shandilya when a goat eats all the leaves of a small plant. Still new leaves could be seen sprouting in the plant again. This is just because the small plant survived on the food stored in the stem and roots.
Name: Amelia
Homework ❣️❣️= the goat ate away all the leaves of the plant but it still survived because the leaves of the small plant (balsam) when performed photosynthesis earlier before the goat ate it's leaves, it stored the food in its stem and roots. Thus when the goat ate it's leaves, the plant just used the starch stored in its stem and roots, and survived without it's leaves.
(I hope my answer is correct, if not please tell me ma'am 🥺😵💫)

Mam the answer is : Plants can indeed survive without leaves, but only for a few days. After that, they rely on nutrients from other parts of the plant, such as the roots and stem. Without leaves, a plant cannot efficiently produce food through photosynthesis, and its survival becomes challenging.
because food was stored in form of starch and it was used later as food
In plants, if the leaves are not present there to produce food then plants can easily survive for a few days. In the nonexistence of leaves, the stored food in roots and stems helps to execute all the food requirements of that plant. Thus, the plant survives without leaves.

The plant had stored excess glucose in the form of starch which help to survive the plant
even though leaves are not available, roots and stems still contains chlorophyll and they can prepare their own food for their growth and development
❤
Homework
The plant of balsam survived on the food stored in the stem and roots. It may have undergone gaseous exchange through lenticels on the stem.
Mam i have a doubt
Why is Picture Plant known as partial heterotrophs not complete heterotrophs
Because picture plants can prepare their own food. They live in nitrogen-sufficient soil so they get their nutrition from insects. @@AadyaFashion
