As a S. Bronx native who moved to San Diego in the 80's I can testify that coastal ride from Oceanside all the way down to Del Mar is stunning. Welcome to California Ivan.
Thanks for joining us for the change of scenery and welcome to the comments! I wish we had the time so I could’ve tried that route you mentioned. i totally would’ve rented a road bike even though I’m in terrible shape now lol. I heard that parts of the coastal route 1 were closed because of landslides so people were riding the car route on their bikes without getting bothered!
@eyebahnrides Well that road you speak of is in Monterey County where my wife and I currently reside. It is along the Big Sur route and it crumbled under a landslide, again. Anyway your in a much warmer part of CA though we have a 14 mile route along the coast ending in Pacific Grove which is beautiful. Hopefully my wife and I will hit it up on our twin Kaabo's (likely pulling the trigger this weekend).
@@tbirdboy despite the craziness I hope yall can enjoy those roads on the Kaabos! That's all I could think about while on that Pedego. This would be awesome on my scooter, a high powered ebike, and or an eskate because the roads were so nicely maintained. Safe riding this weekend!
Ivan singing at the beginning of the video. Ivan’s wife holding the camera: 🤦🏻♀️🤣, but seriously I’m she enjoyed that part of you opening and having fun with it. My wife us to say “OMG” and laughing when I used to sing around her. I really enjoyed doing that. Ivan riding: 👁️👄👁️ Me looking at the surface of the streets and roads: 👁️👄👁️👀👀👀 No potholes 🤣 The opening to this video was excellent, it really captured the essence of the environment, well done.
Thanks for joining us on this one! LOL I blame the singing on the damn Deadpool Wolverine movie I watched on the plane. I'm trying to loosen up and be more like myself on those intros when I'm in front of the camera. It's definitely taking some getting used to since I don't like being infront of it lol. Broooo... the roads were incredible this whole trip. I had to look for potholes to hit so that I could test the suspensions lol. BTW, glad the opening hit the mark because I've been playing around with he manual settings for the camera + the ND filters. I was hoping to capture how chill and peaceful that city was compared to the nonsense that we deal with here in NYC lol
Bro, that intro was so chill... i loved it! California is so beautiful. Lol, WTF was up with the popo, I'm glad you weren't going. I am so glad we still have honest people in this world. That had to be a huge weight off your shoulders. Way to end a vacation on a good note.
thank you! I was really trying to capture that area with the intro and learning the manual settings + ND filter on the camera was a game changer. Slowing getting used to this style of video and it's all thanks to my 3rd person camera pooping out on me lol. Yea man, it's so nice there that it makes me want to move. Even though I'm not "landlocked" it still feels like were caged in NYC. I'm shocked that it even happened but it makes me happy to see that someone did exactly what I would do if I randomly found a wallet. It was a really cool experience to cap off that part of the trip!
thanks for joining us on this ride where I almost never came back to NYC lol. Yea man, those were my thoughts exactly. It was so chill and peaceful... the complete opposite of the nonsense we deal with in NYC. We've got a few weeks of California videos. I hope to do more recording when I travel!
Hated leaving NY,C but it turned out to be the BEST decision. I miss the brotherhood, but i'm growing as a rider, and i appreciate the peace and scenery of the land outside. Nice video bro. Ride safe
Thanks for joining us on this ride that almost convinced me to move lol. I totally get what you mean tho. The only things I would really miss about NYC is family, the crew, and the bodegas. If I were younger, that sounds like a crappy trade off for that kind of peace and nature, but my mind is changing as I get older!
Thanks for watching! Yea it was so freaking nice. If I had the time, I would’ve loved to do that long route that north where the coastal highway was closed to cars because of a landslide. But it was still open to bikes!
*Looks amazin!* 🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽 Great intro Woahh, someone handed your wallet in, we still have great humans around! Sometimes even good people have bad things happen so it's nice to see that wasnt the case this time, we got a wholesome endin 😁
Thanks for joining us in Carlsbad! It was such a freaking nice area I almost didn't come back lol. Yup! When good things like that happen, it comes as a shock as a NYer. But moments like that restore a bit of my faith in humanity because I would do the the same.
Thanks for joining us for the different sights and I’m glad you enjoyed the b-roll I shot! I’m learning how to maximize the osmo pocket 3 using the ND filters and manual settings so I was stoked to see how well they came out when I was editing the footage! Oh man, I’m so jealous that you get to ride in that kind of view! I really didn’t want to come home 😂
@@eyebahnrides yep it really depends on the area where you live. If you somewhere like Orlando or Lakeland. The damage will be less. Places like ana Marie Island or Clearwater Beach will get more damage from it.
thanks for joining us for this change of scenery cruise! It was an incredible area and I basically didn't want to leave lol. I get that I was looking at it through the lens of a vacation but what a pleasant city! Ohhh thats interesting. I saw so many ebikes, escooters, and evs through out that whole city that I'm not surprised that they'd build an HQ near there!
thanks for watching and welcome to the channle Gizzmoe! I appreciate the welcome. It was so nice, my wife and I have been having conversations about moving since we came back lol. I hope I can make my way up to SF eventually since I know the PEV scene there is pretty insane too!
Totally awesome about the wallet being taken to a chase. Wow!
lol I know right? Thatll never happen here 🤦🏻♂️

California beachside is so chill. Hope to see more videos of you exploring other states on PEVS!

@eyebahnrides it's worth it. Sadly most of that area has some major hurricane damage . I only go there on vacation
Damn, I’m sorry to hear that about that hurricane. That would be my biggest fear being in the coast especially in the Florida
@@eyebahnrides yep it really depends on the area where you live. If you somewhere like Orlando or Lakeland. The damage will be less. Places like ana Marie Island or Clearwater Beach will get more damage from it.
Only an hour from me!! Youre also by where they are currently making the Aptera!

Was this or was this not a video of Ivan slowly convincing himself to move to California...
lol thanks for watching guys! Dude... the next 4 videos including this one is me trying to find a way to move to california!
RELIEVED that you got the wallet. Another sign. lol
Hahaha facts man… facts… as much as I love NYC all know that would never happen here lol 🫡
