Nice amenities. Rented there for 6 months this year 2022. A 1 bedroom unit is small and the studios real small. Very small closet/storage space. Cheaply made also. Decent view from the 20th floor. Not a terrible place to rent short term while you learn the lay of Pattaya. I was paying 9500 Baht a month for a 1 bedroom. Best of luck.

I saw the Riviera condo before in another channel and I do love the building but, I agree, the rooms are super small...the price is OK and the one you mentioned its really cheap. I was looking for the same, "my dream" an condo with ocean view but, after your comments I am not so sure anymore. Your video is great and informative. It may be a good idea to film while you are looking for a "better" place, I mean, something that you like better. I believe that people will be interested in seeing what you are finding. Many you-tubers getting lots of subscribers doing only that. Showing Condos available and prices. Good luck, soon, in 4 months or so, I hope to be doing the same. Hope you find the place you're looking for...will be following you on your "adventures".

Haha..I stayed in that exact room for 3 months April this year...omg that couch is so uncomfortable and bed hard, but loved the location...good little coffee shop at the Deverree on the front...was my go to place every morning for my coffee and short walk away the street bar..good food and atmosphere live music every night and two for one drinks 🍸 but best of all the staff at both places are so friendly. I'm coming back next week but this time booked a sea view condo at Lumpini Park Beach..good deal for two months on Airbnb approx 23000 baht for the two months.

Aloha dude nothing against your video you did a good job I know you’re retired there. I’m also thinking of retiring there. I’ve watched 30 4050 videos the past six months it’s creepy there is no one living in the condos there’s no people. All these condo videos you don’t see anybody it’s like apartment living everyone is in the condos no one goes out except at night it’s just weird how I know it’s just you know when you make the videos there’s no people but there’s never any people it’s just kind of creepy I know there’s a lot of people there but they’re in none of the videos

If you have a direct seaview in Jomtien, you're likely going to be on the hot side of the building. The new buildings have smaller rooms but more amenities than the older buildings. You can get a nice 48sqm room at any of the View Talay buildings for less than you're paying at the Riviera. But they won't have the views, and some won't have a gym. There is supposed to be a brand new development starting construction soon next to the Jomtien Night Market, across from Copacabana. So you may want to keep that in mind if you find something in the blocks on either side of that.

I live in Jomtien Beach Condo, an older building with side facing units so much less sun blast though I do have a decent partial sea view, more than sufficient. 1BR units are about 45 s/m, furniture dated but comfortable. Been here 1 1/2 years, started with a pretty low Covid era price. When I told my owner I was probably going to move when my RA ended this month because I assumed the rent would jump, he said that if I was willing to sign for another year, he'd be happy to keep the rent the same. He said he'd much rather have a steady tenant at a lower rate than an unpredictable succession of tenants. Older buildings may not be as slick and glossy but they can be much more comfortable places to live in the long run.

Looks like a nice place to spend a week or two on vacation, but not to live. Jomtien is a lovely area to set down roots. You can find some real bargain properties around if you look at older condos. You also get a lot more space for your money as they built them a lot bigger a few years back. The newer condos all look a bit rabbit hutchy to me. Good luck on finding a permanent place to call home.

If they do catch someone in violation, they can deny that person entry and the airline is responsible to return them to the departure point so they do check. If one has a single or multi-entry visa, obtained from a Thai consulate in a foreign country, you do not need onward or return tickets.
