I got hialuronidase inyected only once. There was a 4 hrs delay. Lucky after almost one week the skin started getting beter. It was a terrible experience.

    What happens if too much hyaluronidase is used. Will is eat tissue or cause permanent damage? I had vascular occlusion two days ago and 4500 units of Hyaluronidase was used. My face is swollen and feels like jelly around my lips. I'm so worried about my tissue. This was done at a spa. I have so much regret right now. I'm thankful to be okay tho.

  • @Dandelion_flight
    @Dandelion_flight 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    @1:43 'The chances of you directly injecting filler into an artery is very slim probably about 1 in 100,000..so the chances of going back into that same artery with the dissolver such as hyaluronidase are much less than 1 in a million, so the beauty of hyaluronidase is that all we have to do is put the product around the vessel and it'll penetrate through and dissolve the filler'
    Hi Dan, I don't quite get this about the statistics. Why is the statistic showing that it would it even harder to inject the dissolver into the artery (say the filler is blocking it)? If an injector knows exactly where she/he has injected the filler, then wouldn't it be quite easy to know where to inject the dissolver in?

      Sure it may help. But think of the reasoning. All it’s doing is dilating/relaxing the artery. This may assist in dislodging the filler. But this also means that it may move the filler somewhere else. Such as eye, brain, heart...

    Hi Dan, I have a few pressing questions. I have been getting lip filler done since the summer of 2019. I have now had two vascular occlusions now at the hand of the same PA at the dermatology office I go to. The first occlusion occurred in April of 2021. The second just happened a few days ago. I’ve gone to other offices and nothing of the sort has ever happened. What are your thoughts on this matter?

    I don't understand how you're getting 500 units from drawing up 4ml if it's 150u/1mL? 4ml gives you 600 not 500.

    Hi. I don't recognise my face after hyaluronidase. I had my third injection in the left nasolabial fold in September. And my cheeks on both sides have reduced, as well as my side temples and cheekbones. Looks like the contour of my face has completely changed and I look 5 years older. I just turned 24. I regret so much. It's been 3 months and not much improvement... She told me the doses after I emailed her multiple times about my concerns. First session in june 25iu in the left nasolabial fold and 20iu in the right. In july 35iu. And in September 40iu in the left nasolabial fold. To me this makes no sense. Why would you increase the dose of hyaluronidase when the quantity of hyaluronic acid should be smaller after each session.

      There’s growing evidence that hyaluronidase in the mid face is causing similar issues for many clients. Sorry to hear that. Thanks for sharing.

      @@danestheticsmedical Then why do doctors keep telling us it's safe??? We put our trust (and money) in their supposed "knowledge and skills" and we're left with damaged skin. I was told this is all due to weight loss. Again lies! I don't know what to believe. I'm so tired of this. I just want to know what can be done about it

    If you were injected hyaluronidase already, how many days to see the result doc.?

    • @danestheticsmedical
      @danestheticsmedical  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You would see the results within 24 hrs. But hyaluronidase is active for up to 48hrs. For non emergency cases, such as dissolving a bubble or just an area that’s over filled, I would wait 2-3 days before adding more hyaluronidase.
