Thank ya'll for watching! This was a great day of fishing. This is the Vudu Shrimp I was using here: bamasaltwater.com/shop/ols/products/vudu-shrimp-rootbeer-325-inch-14-oz-2pk
I could watch you clean fish all day bro. Be very thankful you live so close to the salt, I grew up on salt/brackish in Titusville FL and my family moved to the stinkin mountains! Miss the salt!
Hi, I’ve been watching all of your videos for about 8 months. It was improved my fishing skill by 200%! I used to be extremely bad at saltwater fishing. Many TH-camrs just show you the action but you have always explained what you are using and everything. So thank you keep going.
Your doing it right Bama! By far the best fishing channel out there! Very informative about all aspects of gear, drag, conditions, cleaning, cooking and most certainly respectful of regulations and the Good Lord's species themselves. From SW FLA to Bama, you'd be welcomed with open arms down here after we clean up a bit. Take good care Brother!
Hey Bama salt water. FyI. Someone is contacting people and say they have won something from you from a selected shortlist. If it is you I apologize, if it's not you you may want to let your viewers know. I was one of them contacted. The text number they sent me is from Chicago IL. Never can be too careful these days. ,,
That was some excellent flounder fishing, I have a large frying pan and if the fish fits in it I will fry it whole skin and all and I do use the oven as well for some fish
The streaks on the underside of flounder #4 are a lesion caused by parasites. We see similar stuff like that in the Chesapeake Bay--especially on rockfish (stripers). We generally toss 'em back as inedible, but when thoroughly cooked there's no risk.
I am absolutely addicted to your content brother. Grew up fishing on the St. Lawrence River and its tributaries in Northern NY and now I’m in landlocked Fort Worth. If you ever want a man awesome thrill, find someone who will take you on the Grasse, Racquette, or St. Regis rivers in northern NY for topwater musky fishing. Hard to get up there, but there’s nothing like it!
Very nice A limit of delicious flounder is truly a blessing. Caught most of mine in SE LA in the salt marsh. Use the shrimp lures and smoke beavertail grubs and cocahoe minnows of various colors, all with plain jig heads. I've used some gold glitter sassy shads, but never found a source for resupply Thanks for the video
Your vids are always on point..informative..practical..useful and enjoyable. Great formula. Thank you for your efforts and we will keep watching. Peace out
I’ve been binge watching all your videos, love the content. Learned a lot especially about what rod/reel setups are good for different situations. Keep it up!
Stellar day of fishing! Flounder is my favorite inshore fish to eat so if i can get a limit of them i keep every legal one when they bite this good. Its getting real close to big sheepshead time also!
I wish we still had a good flounder season in NC. They have knocked us down to only being able to keep 1 per person, per day and only in the month of September. Of course commercial fisheries don't have any restrictions like that.
Yeah man!! When I worked at the Tackle Shops, I would watch shrimp and see exactly how they swam, reacted, and all I do is try to replicate that. You can't get anymore realistic than that!
Enjoyed watching you catch them fish and thanks for the tutorial now I know the easiest way for me on how to get a stuff flounder I like the way you done that
Somebody tried to gig that flounder. The ones I catch near flats areas where people go gigging at night sometimes have scars like that from barbs. Love the tips and tricks!!!
Flounder closes in Louisiana this upcoming Saturday, so tomorrow. Unfortunately I won't be able to hit the rocks until Sunday. So it's redfish and trout for me.
Yo I live in Australia and we don’t do inches do you recon you can put cm at the bottom of the screen I will really appreciate it cheers and love your videos
Bama!!! hope you’re doing well brother I can’t wait for my final out (less than a month away) and I’ll have alllll the time to fish. Until then I’m living vicarious through u my man. 🐐
What a mellow fellow. About to subscribe. Strange days for sure (but NOT because of this guy) (imagine a world full of people like Bama Saltwater). Thanks to the Good Lord up above for EVERYTHING He does for us ! (BOOOOOOM !!!) Subscribed. PEACE.

Great video, great catch, anytime you limit out on flounder is a great day and with the sheepshead as a bonus, wonderful.
I agree! Mullet are one of my favourites 👌🏽
I agree with the previous comments. The content on these videos is unrivalled anywhere else on TH-cam.
That's a great way to fillet those flounder. I think they're one of the easiest fish to fillet, which seems counterintuitive. Good stuff!
Really enjoying learning from you Thankyou I live in Foley maybe I’ll see you out there sometime to learn some more.
I’ve been binge watching all your videos, love the content. Learned a lot especially about what rod/reel setups are good for different situations. Keep it up!
I appreciate the support ! Tight lines
Love your channel. Every video is an education. Keep them coming.
At 10:30 when you got that flounder I think a shark tried to eat it and it got away and that is why it’s tail is ripped like that
Good fishing 🎣 Bama nice sheep head and tell Mama I been missing her fishing 🎣 with you ❤️
Great videos and instruction. Very professional work. GO ARMY!
Thanks for the flounder cleaning tips at the end. Gonna try that deboning method next time!

Great catch and thanks for the teaching on how to prep them for wonderful meal
Just moved to the Emerald Coast of Florida, I was definitely using that shrimp lure incorrectly. Thanks for taking me to school!
Yeah man!! When I worked at the Tackle Shops, I would watch shrimp and see exactly how they swam, reacted, and all I do is try to replicate that. You can't get anymore realistic than that!
Hello, love it when you said, "don't judge me on the color."
Just an awesome channel. Love the vids.

Fried Flounder is amazing! Good catch. Good vid.

I’d love to try fishing that kind of area. I hate living in Birmingham. Too far from saltwater where I love to be. Love your channel
Thanks! It was a great day for sure !
Hey Mr I just cane across this video and I noticed a Roman head in the start of the video when u say hey little buddy to the crab
The grind is crazy!
That was some masterful filleting!! Beautiful!
I’ll be down there in June 2023. What should I use to fish the bank and pier. I’ll be right around Mobile bay.
Thanks man!!!! I will have to wait until next September to try the stuff flounder method, season is closed in NC. 😢
Yeah man!! It's well worth it and one of my favorite fish dishes! Tight lines to ya!
Another great upload!
Always want to know how to filet a flounder, thank you for the tip.
That flounder was probably beat up from the spawn, you often see it with bass and other game fish
I think you the first person I’ve seen using baitcaster in saltwater. Great video
I love using them! They definitely have their quirks though
@@BamaSaltwater yes they do. I’m learning on them now 🤦🏻♂️.
Love your vids. Another way to scale a flounder is with a wire brush. This was shown to me by a guide in Appalachicola
Yes, not a bad idea. I just don't like the possibility of a wire bristle getting stuck in the meat then eaten. lol
Can’t wait to get me some BAMA SALTWATER merch!!
Whoop Whoop Thank ya!
That's some nice work. Good job.
Nice content. Looking forward to seeing more
Bama!!! hope you’re doing well brother I can’t wait for my final out (less than a month away) and I’ll have alllll the time to fish. Until then I’m living vicarious through u my man. 🐐
