A Journey Through Mongolia (Full Length Documentary)

- Mongolia! A Journey through Mongolia is a travel documentary from our one month trip through the great expanses of the Mongolian plains.
We started the trip with a few days in Ulaanbaatar to experience the sprawling metropolis. We also had a chance to go to Hustai National Park not far from UB to see the last remaining wild horse, the Takhi. Then we went on a ten day adventure to go live with the Tsaatan Reindeer Herder tribe in the very north on the border of Siberia. This was an incredible experience and it was very demanding with multiple days on horseback after a long strenuous multi-day 4WD trip. After a short recovery we went to the eastern part of the country to the Bayan-Ölgii Province to attend the Golden Eagle Festival. This festival has really been the focus of the Mongolian travel in recent time, very much because of Aishol-pan the "Eagle Huntress". We had a chance to meet this incredible girl who is certainly an inspiration to women across the world. After the festival we went and lived with an eagle hunter family deep in the Altai Mountain Range.

A million thanks from those of us who can travel only on the Internet .
Yeah we do that a lot as well when we can’t be out exploring. Today however we just woke up in the capital of Ethiopia ;) Adventure Time!!!
It was a great video. I hope you will also like my videos
For just one click
yes dear
True
I have been guiding and organizing soft-adventure and cultural tours for 15 years. There are 2 things makes people love Mongolia. 1 is the open space and nature, the second is the hospitable nomadic community. I love my country. I have been traveling over 30 countries in 4 continents I but decided to stay in my home country.
That must have been an exciting life!
Visit Pakistan.
@Denis No, Mongolia is one of the save countries in the world to travel. You may have heard some rare occasions but generally it is safe. Night life is mostly indoor and clubs and pubs serve until 4 am. There are certain places foreigners enjoy mostly as well, for example Green Zone etc
What's your job if may I know? That's so cool you can travel around the world
@@kidfromhell3327 I am run travel company. But only in Mongolia.
Mongolia. A country of vast and unlimited beauty. A land where a rich cultural heritage reigns supreme. A place where a mesmerizing language flows like music. A nation where its music flies like the wind. Where its people demonstrate their amazing hospitality and hardiness. Where the scents of their mouthwatering cuisine warms the Earth. This is Mongolia, a land of beauty. I hope to meet you, as a country, face to face someday. Much love from the United States. 🇲🇳🇺🇸

If you've yet to see The Eagle Huntress, highly recommended. The young girl in that documentary was briefly shown in the video. Amazing to watch her capture her own eagle, train and compete with it. Such a beautiful country and culture!
Thank you for sharing your adventure.
Yes we have watched it :) excellent documentary, she is very inspiring
When the girl in the video got invited and stayed with family on the road i cried and missed my country so faithfully ! I am here in United states. First i arrived in Chico, California which is very small town. I had to stay there for couple days before i move to Chicago. And rented a room for a week. Suddenly i needed to move out and let the landlord knew. He was so angry and insisted to not giving my deposit back. Almost kicked me out of the room i couldn’t argue because of my language knowledge at a time. I cried a lot and missed my motherland and its people its amazing culture and hospitality that how we treat people we don’t even know. I love my country! And i miss you so much. Can’t wait to be back soon!
Well you would always be welcome wit us

Kazakh people of Mongolia, please, keep your ways, you are such an inspiration for Kazakhstan
I loved the fact that most of the places in Mongolia are rich in following their cultures and traditions which makes it even more authentic , beautiful and peaceful place 💗
Agreed!
The nomadic culture is brutal but beautiful. Respect from eastern Ethiopia Somali region..
Bushido Shōgun not worst than al shabab
We just returned from Ethiopia filming our latest video. Fantastic country
Sorry to teach you: Nomadic culture in Mongolia is not brutal. It´s just real nature. I´ve been in Mongolia for five times - totally half a year. Mongolia is the most peaceful place in the world for me. I have discovered more than 30 countries at this planet. I´ve been also a few times in Ethiopia. Also nice experiences. But sorry to tell: never met so many pocket thieves at any other place in the world compared to Ethiopia. But they don´t make a difference :-) They attack everybody: tourists and natives :-) In Ethiopia I was even attacked with an axe, cause I didn´t see the man within the cattles, who didn´t like me to take a picture from the cattles. That I would regards as brutal. But I still love Ethiopia and Buna - Amaseginalehu :-)
sorry man. Mongolian nomadic culture is not brutal... never ever. They are living under nature law. They are respecting mother earth. This is not predator's Africa. It is a heaven under the sky
The history of mangolia is brutal at the time of mangol emperors .not there culture
They are the last of raindeer herders, what a great documentary to witness this extraordinary lifestyle. Don't know how long these people would last with their beautiful culture ❤️
Thanks for sharing beautiful country.
You are very welcome
The land is beautiful and the friendliness of the natives is priceless. The chief and his wife are priceless.
Couldn't agree more
Our world is still so full of wonder, it has been captured here beautifully. Amazing Culture and People.
Beautiful country and people. Let’s hope that cultures are preserved.
Oz Lang Yes, excellent point. And the same for all world cultures.
Beware of whoever that label themselves as God selected people. Such people generally are amicable only on surface.

What an incredibly well documented journey. Thanks for letting us experience things we never would (drinking warm mares milk for example) and the work you do. Looking forward to the next one!
Thanks for the kind words. Ain't nothing wrong with a little lukewarm mares milk ha ha. We are working on the next one which will take us to Lesotho and South Africa.
The beauty and its extreme remoteness is overwhelming at times.

This was such a treat to watch! I have always wanted to visit Mongolia. I am glad to see it through your channel. You both are a good team.
+undertheturkishsun thank you! Means a lot to us both
undertheturkishsun That's pretty patronizing, the Mongolians are people just like everywhere else, so they're not perfect either. Apparently Mongolia has a serious problem with xenophobia and is full of neo-Nazis, for example
Adventure Calls she is Kazakh, only Kazakh have eagle, not mongol! Kazakh national sports, like kokpar
Вйьыьыул thx for likening my country
@@boombastikboombastik1330 Ironically, the Eagle hunters exist only in Mongolia today. If you don't like Mongolia, you Kazakh can go to Kazakhstan and live under prejudice and discrimination or back to china get oppressed and jailed. Kazakh refugees fled to Mongolia begins in 1840 with many refugees arriving from areas now Xin Jiang, Western China. Records suggest that in 1905, there were 1370 Kazakh households, increasing to 1,870 households by 1924 (the year Mongolia adopted socialism). By 1989, the Kazakh population grew to approximately 120,000 individuals...
