Thanks for sharing openly. The simplicity of the setting and the video, works really well with what you talk about.

This was a really Interesting insight. Personally I grew up non-alcoholic and had my first experience with it at age 21 ( kinda pressured by my back then gf)- never have been drunk in my life and never saw the point. Seeing why someone who did binge-drink switched to complete non-alco is really fascinating.
And YES the taste is godawful.
In a nutshell, alcohol makes NO sense:
    1. You can feel just as included ( in fact people who can’t have fun without it respect you more)
    2. It tastes like shit
    3. It’s expensive
    4. Getting drunk destroys braincells
    5. Losing your memory from it literally makes the evening pointless since you only feel hungover with none of the memories
    6. It’s expensive
    Congrats on your switch:)

I love this perspective. I've also decided to stop drinking but I don't enjoy sweet drinks. I find that since switching to alternatives, I don't even feel like I'm missing out on anything really. This was great. Thank you❤

Thanks so much Linda your comments mean a lot to me. I’m new to my TH-cam journey and have so much to share on this. I’m really passionate about the positive effects of ditching the booze but don’t want to miss out on all the fun and socialising. The alternatives help so much. They act as a placebo for sure. 😂 what’s your favourite non alcohol alternative?

@@MichelleOBrienYT you're doing great work Michelle- I've been enjoying your content so much💃🏾I've been having fun experimenting and trying out new drinks. Your channel is inspiring me. Thus far, I've been enjoying Lautus wines (made in Cape Town, SA- really really good) as well as Savanna Zero ( an AF version of South Africa's favourite cider)
