@@alessiosandro123 What makes you think it is not? I can't see any reason to suspect they are different. There is the same darkish place at 2 o'clock of the rosette; the colour changes depending on the angle of the guitar to the light source; when he turns it in his hands, it becomes darker, as it is when she holds it. The sound he produces is obviously different from hers', but that is absolutely to expect with two different players with different nail shapes and technique... I'm curious what clues you have found to the contrary?

I can personally attest to the projection of Ana’s guitar. I’ve been to one of Ana’s performances and was seated way in the back row and the sound it produced was incredibly clear. So clear that I was looking for some kind of amplification. Nope, not a bit of amplification. It was all from the natural acoustic sound produced by the guitar. A truly excellent instrument in the hands of an exceptional musician.

I totally agree that the Marco Lijoi has the most balanced sound. That has been my search for a long time-to find the most harmonically balanced guitar. I can see his guitar also being perfect for chamber ensemble. It will clearly stand out among the other instruments.
I spent $6,000 on my LoPrinzi Millennium, and waited 3 years for it's completion. I wish I had that money now: I'd buy Marco's guitar in a heartbeat! Ah...c'est la vie.

Ana Vidović is amazing. Not only she is a humble, very disciplined, hard working person but also incredibly talented. She takes so much care about the sound of her guitar and she has a deep knowledge of what she talks about (both musically and soundwise). I wonder if she has any 'Alhambra' guitars, which are crafted here in Spain. Probably she does have one. I will say it again: she's REALLY talented. Not only as an interpreter, but also as a composer. If you haven't listened to the wonderful piece she and her brother Viktor composed together, "Raft House", I recommend you doing so. It's a very beautiful piece. So is her, inside and outside. I'm really looking forward to attending Ana's next recital here. I attended the ones she gave last June and November here in Madrid. I will never forget it.

I enjoyed her concert in an intimate setting in Washington DC a few years ago and was also very impressed with her technical skills and beautiful interpretations. I was able to meet her after the performance and thought she was so charming and humble. I am a student of classical guitar and told her I was learning to play La Catedral from Barrios Mangoré, which she played that evening, and she was very encouraging. I always refer to her pieces on TH-cam for inspiration and also just for the enjoyment. Greetings to you in Spain, guitar capital of the world!!

You mentioned "La Catedral", my favourite piece of Ana's repertoire!! :-) I also agree with you that she is a total inspiration, not only for guitar players, but for musicians in general and most importantly, for becoming a better person. Of all musical instruments the classical guitar is the most beautiful. Acoustically and appearance it is the most powerful and melancholy of instruments. My dream was to make such a guitar but ended up restoring them along with violins, Violas and Cellos. The guitar though possess a majestic tone and is the most feminine of instruments. Ana is one of the most accomplished guitarists I've heard and the control of the guitar is outstanding. She is heaven sent and her personality is admirable. She is other worldly who cannot be in love with Ana her sustain and has a clarity as beautiful as her guitars. From the Balkans came a angel with a guitar and ignited the world of musical expression and mastery. God bless Ana and the classical guitar for it is the music of the spheres and has rocked the world 🌎.

What a fantastic interview, Ana is a phenomenal guitar player, and she is right you can have a personal relationship with a guitar. If you find the right one, you won't want to play on another. I have seven and I only love to play 2 of them. But even my favorite one I love most is not the best, most expensive one, but it is the most comfortable one. Redmond is a beautiful sounding classical instrument. I wonder if hers is the single or double top version. Ana when she plays takes command of that guitar and it does what she wants it to, she is awesome. I don't think I've ever heard her miss a note on that instrument yet. A most confident player and humble also. 😎🤠

How fantastic Ana's playing is, her interpretation, etc., and such a nice person, I personally am not the biggest fan of the Jim Redgate, and in general lattice braced guitars. But how she tells about her guitar, it is not just the sound, playability, I agree totally that without the connection, it just doesn't work. And how she looks at the guitar, she is still in love with it... So, it is the right guitar for her, no doubt. Based on the guitars reviewed, the sound, I would go for the Michael Cadiz. But I have to hold it in my hands to be able to feel the connection. And as a lefty, that is the most challenging thing.
Just by listening to all the different guitars, and to the different players (concerts), it really helps to develop me to be a better guitarist, to help my "guitar" hearing.
To the entire team of Siccas Guitars, keep on going with the good work.
I'm looking forward to Ana's concert! A beautiful Christmas present.

Don't spend your time chasing the perfect guitar---whatever guitar you have --practice more(quality practice) learn to feel the music--a great player brings out the best in any guitar--as long as you have a good guitar that is set up to be easy to play---that is all you need---the rest is up to you--- playing beautifully comes from within---it is not dependent on the guitar you own.

i see lots of great comments about Ana...yeah,we also love her. lol...she is like superstar in Croatia. But there is a young guitar player who plays the instrument from age 4 and he made his first composition a year later.
Great Tommy Emmanuel took him as his student....sort of.
His name is Frano Živković so check him out

Ana's got a beautiful sounding guitar. Did you happen to notice how how she played the tremolo with pmim, instead of the usual pami? The ring finger is often the source of inaccuracy when playing tremolo, particularly on the inner strings. I switched to playing tremolo with pimi, and it's made all the difference in the world for me.

@@tasosdiaforetico7377 I don't know how she fingers the Etude, but Pepe Romero doesn't use his ring finger on it, and plays it at breakneck speed. In some ways, the reduces the effectiveness of it as an Etude, but contrasts what may be a "better" fingering for it.

Marco's guitar (w/ blue rosette) is very fine, but the tonewood has not opened yet. The tonal picture is not yet complete but it will sound great in 10-15 years.
Kim's guitar gains projection, at the expense of nuances in the middles. I think it's a usual problem with lattice-braced guitars; projection is gained by over-emphasising highs and lows.
Annette's guitar benefits from cedar top: the tone is warm & immediate, but the short scale affects lower end which is not as "nuanced". For good lows, full scale (650mm+) is needed.
Michael's guitar is fine, but the spruce has not opened yet, the mids are not quite there yet. Sounds good and rounded in the lower end, and it will be a great guitar in 10+ years.
Ana's own guitar is well played-in, the tonewood has opened up, and it sounds fantastic (well, perhaps just a tad it hides the mids, as all lattice-braced guitars do).
