I've come to prefer my black dial Explorer II to my Sub...my older eyes find it much more legible (which is also why I chose the black dial over the more popular white dial, for the contrast between the hands and the dial). And I travel enough to make the GMT hand relevant.
i just tried this watch on at my AD. i too was concerned about it's 42mm case being too big. side by side with my gmt it was barely bigger.....it wears small for a 42mm watch. all the videos make this watch seem like it's a behemoth on wrist
Love the explorer ii and its functionality… it’s the perfect travel watch as you won’t call for attention but having a nice a GMT functionality and precise instrument. It won’t damaged that easier like a GMT bezel as well
Who did your video editting? Horrible. Scatter-shot different E II models, too many shots to the E 1, which you aren't even talking about. Plus, video doesn't coordinate with your narration. You need to re-edit this whole thing, my friend. Amateurish.
“Watch lovers” love the EXP 2, not so popular among the general public.
True that! The Explorer II definitely has its dedicated fanbase among watch enthusiasts
As an owner of many Rolex watches, I can honestly say that the Explorer II Polar is one of my absolute favorite watches.

Sounds like you've found the perfect fit for you! That contrast on the black dial really does make a difference, doesn't it?
If you like white dials, you'll love it.

I think the awkward sizing argument is only for the 6-digit Explorer II, the previous generation is 40mm and feels more compact.

I heard the same thing about the Explorer II being produced in very low quantity. A lot lower than even the Pepsi GMT. Thanks for the vid!
I love my Polar 🥰
Great watch and great size - 8.75” wrist and wear it (black face 226570) daily - no problem. Those that know know, many don’t which is good.
Wear it daily. And it's a good tough professional watch
Great, watch, and alot for its money date and GMT function
I Love the EXP2 👍🏻
the best unconventional Rolex
Got it with black dial🤗

🤔 I'm not an expert but I'll take a guess ... could it be because it's 🤮 ugly?!
no u
@@wreagfe - ooh, are we playing a game?
Do I have to guess the missing letters?
Haha, beauty's in the eye of the beholder! Some love it, some not so much. Different strokes for different folks
Just curious. Why do you call beautiful out of Rolex lineup?
It’s the size man, the size. Could’ve made a much shorter video 😂
Yes. The size... Well, it's a watch for men. Not for boys.
