Your ability to get the teaching across, straight to the point without long boring talk is excellent. Have learnt lots. Other presenters could learn from you on how to present and teach.
Thank you so much! Just downloaded Snapseed and was feeling overwhelmed. This was a great overall tutorial - I've saved it so I can continue to refer to it as I learn.
Thanks so much Ben! I'll probably watch this many more times. I have 1 question (for now). You mentioned a "snapseed folder". Where can I find it on my phone? Thanks again
I installed snapseed yesterday and searching for tutorials and found this video. This video is really helpful for beginners. You explained the tutorial very well.
Excellent tutorial, Ben, straight to the point and no waffle. I'm back using Snapseed after using Lightroom for a while (losing my job and cost forced the change!), and I'm enjoying Snapseed's interface and diving into editing again.
Nice work, Ive had Snapseed on my phones for ages, but your video spurred me into learning to use the various functions, rather than "auto". Very good functional presentation, and no music background for once!
Your tutorial was so clear and concise and full of good advice. One question: After applying the detail tool and then selecting the selection tool and applying masking to the areas you only want the detail applied to in the image, how do you clean up the over-spill from areas you don't want the detail applied to. I sometimes went over the edges when masking. Thank you.
Really liked this tutorial.Thank you.I’ve had Snapseed on my mobile devices for a while but really hadn’t a clue how to use it.You have enlightened me 😊👍
Hi Ben, thank you for not adding music!! And speaking so clearly and slowly. Total newbie and was doing pretty well until you got to the brush tool after saturation. Somehow the details tool is linked, but I will watch it another dozen times. lol
Exceptional tutorial. Many thanks. Not only did you cover all of the main functions clearly but you also included the bit at the end to show editing "live" and consolidate my understanding. Very helpful.
I really enjoyed watching your video! Would look forward to more videos on Snapseed , some more examples with the brush tool..some more live edits on the iPad specifically
very good tutorial. can you make a tutorial of improving a eye view residential landscape photo? I work as landscaper and I would like to improve these type of pictures. ty
Thank you very much for this tutorial! I use Snapseed on d daily basis but some tips you provided, I didn't know about and will start using them. Keep up the good work and hope to see more videos about Snapseed in the future!
I’d appreciate if you let me know how you get the buttons you’re pressing to show up gray in this tutorial? I’m teaching iPhone for my university this semester and I want to make videos but when I press the buttons on on Snapseed nothing shows. I tried accessibility, but that doesn’t work very well for showing the sliding back-and-forth either. Thank you if you can help me.
Great tutorial - many thanks. It compares well to paid-for editing courses available on the Internet especially in terms of getting ideas across very clearly and efficiently. Does Snapseed work well with Apple Pencil ?
Hello, thanks for your kind comment! Unfortunately Snapseed isn't the best app to blur backgrounds easily - you can use the lens blur feature, which has the problem of being a bit imprecise, or there's a very complicated workaround which you can read about here: nerdschalk.com/how-to-blur-background-snapseed/
Loved your Tutorial, it was most informative! Question: How do I bring a Snapseed edited photo into Google Photos? Or how can I print Snapseed edited Photos? Thank you.
Great tutorial !! Wanted to ask a question and hope someone can answer it for me. I've started to use Pro Max photos, which are 48 megapixels in size. Does Snapseed not work on these larger file sizes? When I try to edit a photo, all I get is a spinning blue ball that says, "Develop" and more or less the app locks up. Are the photos too large for Snapseed to not work? Just really like the app and want to use it on larger file sizes. Thanks in advance for any tips/answers.
I use the brush tool to highlight the areas I want it to change... then I hit PICK????? is that what you are saying... if so I don't see PICK icon on the screen??? what are you saying? where do I click to get the areas I I have highlight to incorporate the change I have made?
So, the iPhone default photo app does not have the ability to move photos. It just copies it to another album. I need a photo app that can move and not just copy preventing duplicates.
The overwhelming majority of these tools are in Apple Photos. It would be a brilliant move if Apple would buy out Snapseed and incorporate the missing and unique features of it into its Photos. The dodge and burn tool after the crop tool seems to me to be about the most important editing tool one can have, yet Apple sees it as something akin to kryptonite for some reason. Must have something to do with not wanting to have conflicts with the creators of the various editing apps.
I know your young from your voice, but that's ok. That dosent concern me and I don't worry about it. The information is the vital thing, not who is informing me. I am a complete novice on this subject so any advice is welcome. We learn from our elders yes, but at the same time our elders can learn from our youth, it's a two way thing.
Just found your set of tutorials. My comments may be inapplicable as they and this program may be obsolete already! It would help if you use a coloured ring cursor which is easier to eye-follow? When you say 'tools' could you please put your cursor on whatever to bring up that screen shows the tools? And so on, place the cursor for a bit longer so we can spot it, and the word naming the tool. TY.
If you need a bit more time, you can change the video's playback speed from normal to 0.75x. Sure, he'll sound a bit funny, but you'll be able to follow his movements easier. I hope this helps.
Fabulous tutorial! Thanks so much for all the helpful tips & showing us how the different features work. Question: Does Snapfeed have a "cloning" feature where you can copy from another area of the photo? If not, do you know of any photo editor that does? Thanks so much! 👍🧡
Wow! One of the best tutorials ever.

Thanks for the tutorial
My heartfelt thanks to you! Without any photographic background whatsoever but an eye for composition, your video helped immensely! Thank you.
Thank you so much! Just downloaded Snapseed and was feeling overwhelmed. This was a great overall tutorial - I've saved it so I can continue to refer to it as I learn.

Is there anyway to just highlight something like you used a highlighter?
You should suggest people with AMOLED screen turn off their color enhance setting before editing. Thank for video! 🔥🔥
