HDB BTO 2 Room how to replace a LED ceiling light?

- In my past video about the bomb shelter that my ceiling light is spoil. So after so long than I find a magnetic led ceiling light to replace it. Just connect the Live and Neutral color wire. Very simple, but for safety do switch off the main power.

@@TinyCreatureHub Unfortunately, my lighting uses the screw type wire connector, unlike yours, which is the push type wire connector. So, looks like I have to use a screw driver for mine. Never tried taking out the wire before though ;p
Anyway, my wife and son watched your video too. It makes for a great reference.

if your case is manganic then no issue. Only need drill hole if different case

For watt it depend on where you want it to be bright, for living room n kitchen should be bright for me.
Hi do u suggest getting led light with fan for bomb shelter? Is it very stuffy inside? If the door is closed? Or if I do cleaning for my bomb shelter.
Lol no one use bomb shelter only for store. If add a fan space will get smaller
When I bought my led lights about 2 yrs ago, it did not come with a driver. The lady showed me how to fix but she took off the ballast also. And just fixed the new led tube to the mains wire. Please can you advise. Do I need a driver? If I remove the balast, it will just leave the base shell and the 2 wires sticking out to fix directly to the led tube with the small wirer connection thing for the wires to be screwed into.

Hi how to know if the LED driver is bad or the LED light only? Mine started to blink few days ago and today it is dim light..
If your house got few Led light just take out the spoil one try at other led light that is working. But for me just go buy a new one. Even the driver spoil. Sg sell driver more expensive than the whole light.

Take out the led test on other driver. If work on other working driver than it work if no light than mean led spoil
Hi, Changing fluorscent light to LED. Old light used starter, ballast. Two black wires connected to starter, starter has a white wire connected to ballast. One red wire to ballast. This is what I did :1) connected one red wire to LED's Brown wire, 2) Two black wires connected to LED's blue wire. tested Ok!. Concern is the 2 black wires arre thick, so exposed a bit. Safety issue? Can just connect one black, leave another black wire aside after covered with electrical tape? Thank you.

Ur cover base is what model and price? I asking cuz not all base cover of led ceiling light has magnetic?
The base is metal so if you base metal than you magnet will work
Let us know how long the new led last. Cause the fluorescent light can last about 2 years and cheaper.
It save electricity bill, the led no problem is the driver that cannot last🙊

Lol you talking about ceiling fan. If you can open and take out the led than bring it to hardware shop ask for one color and replace it.
I try 1 colour still cannot.. flickering. so l need to buy 3 colours type.
Like our two-pin plug, an LED light's alternating current can be reversed unless otherwise stated. For instance, how do we know which wire on a SHOWY-156 is Neutral where input voltage wire doesn't have a color indication? Just for DC (direct current)., we need to be very careful (I mean if you look at the waveform itself). It boil down to Electrical engineering which long story cut short.
Most LED lights don't fail because of the LEDs themselves. The LED can last for 10,000 hours, which translates to 416 days. The issue is caused by the LED driver, which generates HEAT by producing high current to drive the LEDs. The electrolytic capacitor's performance suffered greatly as a result since it was unable to tolerate the heat.

If I am not wrong, there are 2 types of led light, 1 type is if any bulb faulty the whole plate all bulbs will not light up, 1 type is if any bulb is faulty only the faulty bulb unable to light up and other normal working bulbs on same plate will still light up. How to know which one is which type?

Much more likely the components in the center box failed than the led's themselves.
Yes mine is driver fail but cannot find the same driver to replace so just get a new one.😤

How do know if the driver is spolit?
Simple just take out the led ring and try it on your other working light driver. If the led light is working mean the driver not
