As a marketing and copywriting expert, may I suggest: make this topic into a series? Break each point and subpoint down into several examples. The slides and captioning texts are helpful. Breaking it down further will be even more helpful. Thank you for listening. :) I needed this. God bless.

Well outlined, your concise way of describing, and comfortably relating it is very helpful Dr! DBT vs CBT... I have to say as an aside that DBT was very helpful but did not relate, or really address the core, then was referred to EMDR to "process". But the step by step defining and yes why we're stressed are well worth walking through as you did here-- Thank you.

This world IS unsafe, lady!!!! And that's not the result of trauma neccesarily, but just a reality. I started my life journey as a child thinking THE BEST of everyone, having the most optimitic view of this world you could imagine, it was very difficult for someone to destroy my smile. But all that changed, as I discovered how people actually where when on the inside I stopped seeing them through my naive eyes and started suffering their malice, through naricsisitic abuse, psychological abuse, bullying, covert psychopaths, state brutality, violence... Of course this world is unsafe, that is just reality unfortunately until Jesus comes back.

Hi Dawn. Firstly a giant THANKYOU. I am doing my post graf degree in Counselling and use your content for every single subject. I'm currently working on a self deconstructing essay using cbt. I've watched a few of your videos so far. Just wondering if you have a piece where you cover Cognitive therapy on its own? Specifically Beck. I am getting confused as cbt is such an umbrella term covering various theorists. They've requested we focus on Beck only but I'm finding this quite difficult
    Thanks 😊

So I have had the worst of things happen, all seemed to hit at once. Or one caused the other. I cant seem to shake the pain, hurt and memories/ flashbacks daily. Its been a few months, very little to no safe feeling..I only sleep when I pass out from...staying up for days...and the closest few persons in ones life have ceased. I will put these steps and techniques to the best of my abilities. I am very tough, strong minded and determined to beat this...trauma slowly taking my life away little by little everyday. I probably need real professional help, but do not have insurance nor afford it/ to pay for a therapist. Have you heard of the procedure (STELLA) Do you think it could be a possible solution? I have a hard time even discussing my incident(s) or processing it still. I have perhaps...turned to substance abuse to...help.or numb the new reality ive been living with. But i am healthy physically and have " a most certain schema of a better tomorrow, everyday" And would prayer help? For hope& healing...
