It will always amaze me when modders are able to do these things, including completely new characters, new animations, new abilities, new maps, etc, while the devs themselves seem to be unable to.
@@oqqobbo hard to pickup because you ahve to know more or less what all 30 cards of the fullhouse deck does, but the gambling aspect of some cards are very fun. Your lows are the lowest, but your highs, they are the highest. It has never been so much fun to ruin a run with your friends by accidentally using the tower card and spawning 6 overloading magma worms on stage 1

It's more of a Rougelite, there's barely any metaprogression but you do learn more about the game the more you play it. If you do give it a try, just have fun! Edit: Wait nevermind you already got noita, hope it's treating ya well!
@@oqqobbo I think with noita it's more of knowing when to pick your fights and spell knowledge and combinations. It's all about experimentation and trial and error. Prioritize finding health in the early game, find a good non-shuffle wand as well (a shuffle wand can be good early game if you get some good stats with some spells). That should help later on in the game.
@@oqqobbo if you still haven't beaten it, I recommend a bit of cheating while you get your bearings on the game. There's some reddit posts that explain how to make batch files that allow you to save the game mid-run. I find that having a run or two with these helps you get a knack for wandbuilding and such.

I know you showed the Dancer mod on-screen earlier in the video, but you really gotta do a more serious review of her. I think her concept is the best and it allows you to free the Artificer every single run and have her as an ally once you do.
she's actually my favorite modded character LOL. I only really started to play her AFTER i wrote the script, but yeah she's the best Also didn't know that her mod was what enabled freeing artificer, thought it was tied to a bigger mod like Bigger Bazar
@@oqqobbo The mod-maker said it was part of Dancer's lore as some guardian sent to retrieve the Artificer, since they were designed with each other in mind. Sadly the modder no longer works on Dancer and she's seen as mostly a silly project. If I had the skill, resources, and permission, I would totally jump in to finish Dancer.
a word of advice for any future modding without the Totally Not Spyware™ program, use r2modman instead -- it's got all the same functionality while not having an astronomical amount of bloatware.
