He canonically isn’t really the face, in like, the band sense. 2-D is (because Murdoc isn’t pretty enough to be the face and I thiiink he can’t sing?). Murdoc is the “leader” of the band and also and also arrogant so it makes sense that he is always the one that does these types of promotion. However I would say that Murdoc’s role in Gorillaz as a story rather than a band is more of the protagonist.

The only flaw about the interview is when "Anthony" (So funny!) asks what is different about Cracker Island from other Gorillaz albums. In my opinion, this is an album of band consolidation through the years. Nothing new, but a perfect album to listen to very easily and chill. Strong 4 out of 5.
