I use to listen to the song “Clint Eastwood” at a young age VERY VERY young age because my mom enjoyed it during the time she was getting out of school and now I just kind of listen to Gorillaz like an every day thing.

Now that you've met Gorillaz, why don't you do one with Blur. They were a mainstay band for the British pop revival in the 90's, and rivaled another historical band, Oasis. Additionally, Blur singer Damon Albarn plays the 2-D characters from Gorillaz. Crazy!

Gorillaz is something I grew up with and still cherish to this day
each character has there own personality and Its so cool in my opinion. Like 2d is always shy and nervous but will sing no matter what. Murdoc is just chill and doesn't care and noodle is full of energy. Then Russel does what he wants he plays his drums and keeps the beat going. (this is all of gorillaz album and part of demon dayz)
You can’t listen to gorillaz without a bit of backstory or understanding of how strange they are. That’s probably why they didn’t have a clue most of them of what was happening.

Personally i love Feel Good Inc & Saturnz Barz, I don't know what it is but somehow those songs are really calming to me.

I'm in my 40's and I just discovered this band through another TH-cam channel, and also through promotional posters that I had seen during my trip to Las Vegas last week at the resort/casino I was staying at. I never knew how wonderful their sound was, and that the characters' designs were equally cool. I've found myself repeatedly listening to the newly released track "Cracker Island". So far I've listened to about half the album (of the same name) and I loved what I heard. As to why I hadn't caught on to this band sooner, I don't know.
