There's a starman waiting in the sky i don’t think it’s really that necessary for Gorillaz to have a Worst to best video, because they have two clear better albums than the rest. The debate will be between Demon Days and Plastic Beach for first spot (which should definitely be Plastic Beach :P).

The Fall > The Now Now > Plastic Beach > Gorillaz > Demon Days > Humanz for me. I know it’s weird, but I like the ‘big three’ mostly equally, so don’t take it that I think demon days is second worst, I love all of them. Except Humanz. We don’t speak of that. The Fall and The Now Now have a unique sound to them I love and often find myself craving - unable to be quenched by anything else. And the way the tracks blend in The Fall is amazing; the level of experimentation and sampling makes it one of the truest Gorillaz albums to me, as it’s all really meant to be one big experiment. Some tracks seem a little incomplete, but it works better as an album than all the others in my opinion. Although it doesn’t have the same flamboyance as the other albums, the Now Now is just a load of great and chill tracks. Idaho, Magic City and Kansas really take me away - it’s really nice and grounded in that it’s not really trying to be anything it isn’t.
I think Hong Kong is Gorillaz's most underrated song. Damon's voice in the first line alone could bring life to barren lands.

I think El Manana is a better song than 19-2000. But then again 19-2000 is, I think, one of the more overrated songs from their debut album. It's weird how often I find myself siding with Demon Days tracks on this bracket. I never really placed it high on my list for Gorillaz albums but looking at all the songs laid out like this is making me rethink.

Turns out we have very different taste even when it comes to Gorillaz songs.
And yet you still ended up with a top 4 that I'm not at all mad at. Only difference is I would have had "Kids With Guns" in it over "19-2000". "19-2000" would have gotten knocked out by "Strobelight" in my bracket. But ultimately, "Stylo" would be my #1 too. It's just like a perfect gumbo of musical elements. I approve, my melon.

I remember when your Plastic Beach review came out and I was so pissed that you gave it a 7/10 because I loved it, and while I'm glad to see that it has grown on you, I think many fans will never have a greater connection with the Gorillaz than they did with Demon Days. As a teenager at the time, it was the most influential album in my life, and completely shaped my musical interests still reflected in what I enjoy today. I had 3 demon days songs in my top 4 with "November has come" winning

I like it as a playlist, playing it on shuffle. I sometimes try to listen it as an album, but it always ends up becoming a chore.

I'm so happy you love Plastic Beach now. Its definitely an album that grows on you, but it eventually consumes you. It's like a movie that humbles you, but it's so enjoyable.
