- We got back to NYC after the holidays and were almost immediately met by snow and bitterly cold temps in the city. I have actually been dreaming about snow in NYC since we moved here, so this was quite a treat. I strongly believe that each season is made sweeter by its contrast to the others, so rather than wishing it was warmer, I have been leaning in to winter and relishing it. Being from the Pacific Northwest, we are not used to very cold winters, and experiencing East Coast cold has been a fun change (really ☺️). I also started the year off with a little deep clean of our apartment, including getting the outside of our windows cleaned which was a bit of an adventure, and we spent some time down in SoHo and exploring the Gramercy neighbourhood, which was new to us. Excited to continue sharing our new york city life with you in 2024!

Yikes, I thought the AC Unit would fall out , when you opened that window 😳. Happy you got those cleaned without any mishaps. It’s interesting to see the apartments in NYC versus the ones we have in VT .
Ahhh no it’s secured at the bottom thankfully so no risk of it falling out, but I was definitely worried that the connection to the top window might break! Glad you enjoyed ☺️

Hey there! Yes it is! The brand is LG and I’m mostly happy with it. It works best for small loads and the dry time is definitely longer than a traditional dryer, but it’s a great solution for a small space/household. Otherwise if you have the space I’d probably go for a traditional stacked washer/dryer as they are more energy/time efficient. Hope that helps!
