That's because it's a computer programmed speedrun. That's also had cheats enabled.

Any proof of cheats enabled? That is a fairly bold statement to make w/o proof.
Also, "computer programmed" means they simply went through the game and played it frame by frame, with each frame being able to put in an input (like, maybe walk right) so they can control exactly when they do it without ever "messing up."

Speed runs the game in the most insane way possible, then, as if that wasn't enough, *broke boundaries to put the companion cube in the final cutscene in a falling loop.* I cannot stress how awesome that is.
It's possible to get out of bounds to the cake even at non-tool speedruns.

I like the version where the runner noclipped the cube into the cake better. The pincer would actually bump against the cube and struggle for a half-second before the cube gets ejected and the pincer closes.

Those blue-green glitching looking areas aren’t render glitches. What you’re seeing is boundary breaking, anything outside the boundaries does not get rendered. Devs like to use these to store items in them until the player triggers an action, like an item spawn

Mario builds up speed for 12 hours. Chell does it in under 10-20 seconds.
You can actually get to PUs in less than 5 in game seconds with pause buffering and backwards long jumping. It's just that requires hitting the a button.
I feel like I just watched the same videos you did.
Mario with as few A presses as possible is akin to portal with as few portals as possible. A speedrun of either is enormously different.

if you roll out of the bed at a 36.74639 degree angle, you can clip through the floor and into the shower, from there you can turn on the water and backwards long slip 7 parallel universes to the right landing you right in school.

+Hop to It! are you sure? I thought TAS was essentially a script of inputs, not a control scheme. There is nobody playing the video you are watching (I think). Its just a pre-programmed series of commands, built to be frame perfect - and therefore not possible by a human to complete in real time.
