Thanks for watching! Overall it’s a really good car, so much so that we have two! Just a few things to look out for so they can be addressed under warranty or taken care of before they turn into bigger problems. 👍
Volvo today is not more than Chinese junk , i have Volvo 2022 electric with lot of problem , change the battery under waranty , new in the box ( MADE IN CHINA ) ,,, and noe electric motor is very noisy ( NEW IN THE BOX ,, MADE IN CHINA ) , i pay for Volvo and i get Geely made in China ,, all the parts MADE IN CHINA
Sorry you’ve had trouble with yours, was surprised to see our 2021 Recharge also has a lot of Chinese components. The gas version has a lot of parts from Europe, but I think a lot of the future Volvo EVs, including the EX30 and EX90, will incorporate more Chinese parts and production. I think like with other goods, people will look at the name or the price and make a decision based on that. Made in China isn’t always a bad thing, a ton of things from Apple are made there but the quality control and standards are high (along with the prices). Will be interesting to see if quality suffers as Volvo ramps up sales volumes and brings in more Chinese sourcing.
I think V brand was sold of to India a few years back. Now it's owned by a Chinese company. I've owned a few older models I can't emphasize how safe they are. I've totaled a few 🤓 depending on which model they might be assembled in the Carolinas USA or Mexico or EU or China. Which model did you have that had so many issues?
Volvo is on there own in sweden. Geely just gives them the money to design cars. Volvo still designs the cars. And it depends if youre european you mostly get swedish volvo parts but if youre american you get the car assembled from china.
None of these flaws seem like deal breakers, but certainly arguments for haggling down the price, if discovered.
Very useful video! Thank you! I was thinking about picking up one of these!

I love my Volvo XC90 - this car's bigger older brother. You know what they say, don't buy in the first model year! 😉
Thanks, helpful video! & cute dog :)
Decent # of issues, hope the EX30 next year is better in its first MY
Agreed!
