This mid-range smartphone boasts quite a few AI features - the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G can generate wallpapers and sports an AI assistant, Folax. Of course, as always gamers are well catered for. The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus can handle Genshin Impact, PubG and other big Android titles, with a dedicated gaming mode chucked in. Likewise, the battery life is among the best of recent phones I've reviewed. You've even got wireless charging support, with a charge pad bundled in the box
Sadly the camera tech on the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G is easily foiled by moving subjects, especially when the lighting isn't great. But it's fine for general everyday shots if you can convince your kids/cats/etc to keep still. And the Note 40 Pro Plus also serves up several AI bits. Folax is a ChatGPT assisted assistant who can sometimes help out with stuff, but mostly likes to apologise.

They say this can record 4k 60fps with the front cam and the footage is quite good. Good for vloggers who can't afford an expensive iphone or samsungs. The display looks great as well and not to mention the processor is a pretty good one and the 120 hz display is common for the price. Great that now a days great phones are coming out at very very aggressive budget prices. The likes of moto edge 50 pro, nothing phone 2a, OnePlus nord 4, samsung A series, Realme Narzo series. Amazing phones under 400 dollars. Pretty much everyone will have a capable phone for photography, gaming, vlogging etc. unlike before where you need to spend over 700 dollars to get an all round capable devices. And if you went lower with the price we used to get either crappy front camera or rear cam or processor or display or video capabilities. Had to compromise on one or the other things. And the charging speeds are crazy now. But it's different scene now. You get all round good phones for that much money. We didnt even use to get ois at this price. I remeber my OnePlus 5 bought for about 400 bucks didnt have oid even though the camera was good as long as it was day light or not moving while taking pictures and just full hd display with just a 30watt charging i guess. Wr get 1.5k as basic now.

The only deal breaker from Note 40 is the removal of 3.5 mm audio jackphone port. 😢 Because apparently Infinix wants its TWS products sell more too.
So if you are interested in Infinix Note, just buy the previous model the Note 30 Pro because it still has the audio jackphone and JBL audio tuning!
