Sitting in with a faster group will make you faster. Now you know that you can do a bit more on the KOM and will pace it even better. If you were able to stay with that front group until the KOM, you would have finished before that chase group you dropped back to. Multi cat racing is about attrition and staying forward as long as possible. In this race, it hurt you because you could have been chilling with that group on the flats, but you will never get faster that way. Well done overall.

Its a group ride not a race. No coffee breaks in races. Riding with faster people makes you faster well done holding the lead group as long as you did

For zwift 1 hour is the equivalent of those 220 km giro stages with multiple HC climbs
@@JV_Allstar you should read the Roadbook for Tour Watopia (FRR) coming in early January!
@ love the FRR tours but can be a recipe for overtraining and sickness as they are super demanding in a good way.
