Great video! Thank you very much! Such a beautiful, classic motor-yacht. However, the safety in "unchartered territory," what about "safety in chartered waters?" with concern to The Roaring Forties, I hear they give even the most robust sailor the terrifying stark naked horror of 30, 40, 50ft waves which the bow crashes into and near sinks the boat
It has a regular fiberglass hull and structure,,,,,, no steel hull nor aluminum structure here. It s basically a trawler not a go anywhere explorer yacht
Really the 148 Nordhavn postings have been being posted now for years, and yet still no sign of the actual vessel on the water if it takes this long to build one it will be the same outcome as what Steve Jobs's yacht was, he never got to see it finished he died before he could even get the pleasure of being on it
I hear ya, partnering with a different design firm as well as a different hull construction process I'm sure has delayed things. I hear what you're saying about Steve, what worse he didn't even get to see the gorgeous Apple Park in the flesh before he died. Only the design plans and vision.
@@NeonCab With all the legal problems they had with the 120 i can easily imagine why they have not sold a bigger one yet....When you pay millions for a yacht, one does his research and due diligence on the company first.
Wonderful vessel? Yes. However, if you actually cook, all galleys require two full-size ovens. You showed virtually nothing about food pantry storage. Explorer vessels require plenty of storage for frozen, fresh, and dry foodstuffs. Pretty woodworking, good layouts, ample guest accommodations. Range by way of engine and fuel storage options? Good videography and narration. I'm a sucker for Nordhavn in all their many configurations. Can't wait for your next video.
What do you think of Nordhavn's 100 class of ship? Let me know in the comment section below. And don't forget to like and subscribe, it means a lot!
❤❤❤❤
I would prefer the video from 5ft above the floor. Not from where a 3yr old would see it. But this is a fantastic vessel.
Yes it is.
The low interior camera angles don’t showcase the yacht very well. Lift that camera up a wee bit more.
Engine room???
Very nice
Thanks
Do you know if the 100ft can be built in aluminium double skin hull
.
Ice strengthened. Hybrid electric propulsion.
As far as I'm aware no. Even the upcoming steel 148, I'm not sure is rated for ice.

Here's an (albeit) older article of a 57 owner making just such a trip.

What hull made of?
Fiberglass.
A fine vessel, yet I prefer the CdM 102 on almost all counts. Oh, well, I'll never be able to afford either 😅
Me either. But that doesn't stop our discussion or excitement. 👍🏽
Intérieur ,filmer de nuit,et j'entends, luminosité grâce aux larges fenêtres......

@@cprolland1539 As
someone who took about an hour of research for a $40 mini fridge, I wholeheartedly agree!
@@cprolland1539 and the buy was the problem nordhavn won the lawsuit
Like being at home
Cozy.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! I appreciate your insights.
I like the vessel but the narrative is off putting
Thanks for the feedback.
