The ejector hill at the end of thunderbolt is something to never forget. The wheel seat in the front car is absolutely insane. Batman didn't do much for me with nothing super memorable, except for sitting on the break run for way too long every single time.
Wicked Cyclone is my favorite too, but, honestly, it's close. While Superman's trains aren't the best (B&M hyper trains are far superior), I don't find the restraints as intolerable as some do. And Superman's layout is pure brilliance.
Gotham City Gauntlet has gotten insanely rough over the years. It used to be smooth when it was first relocated, but now it feels like a earthquake every time I ride it.
I just did a little research on the Thunderbolt--as far as I can tell, its configuration at the New York World's Fair was actually a mirror image. And I think it mostly wasn't the same wood even in 1941, so calling it a relocation might be overstating things, but it's often referred to as one. To make things more complicated, there was actually another coaster with this layout at the 1939-40 San Francisco Golden Gate Exposition at the same time as the NY World's Fair, and *that* one was oriented the same way as the Thunderbolt. So maybe it's better described as a reproduction of the San Francisco one?
Gotham City is shockingly bad. I’ve hated some wild mouse coasters before but I thought it was the absolute worst of the model and the theming doesn’t save it.
Nice vid Lukan we have almost the exact same list, STR and Wi CY is such a huge 1-2 punch. Both are amazing memorable ride experiences I just had to put STR over Wi CY for my Superman rides in May.
I agree with you about the theme of Superman judging that you get such a great view of it. (Coming from my two times experience of going there) But for some reason I've been always afraid of Wicked Cyclone and Superman because of the stomach drop effect you get. IDK why but I never rode those two coasters because of my fear. How do I get over it?
Also, if you want less of that stomach dropping feeling I recommend sitting in the front of the train, it gives you more of a sense of speed than intensity
Superman is way taller, longer and faster, and is structured almost like a story with multiple acts. But Wicked Cyclone is more crazy hyperactive, throwing you around in a different direction every couple of seconds. You feel more like you're in the hands of a madman (and his name is Alan Schilke).

Yeah operations were generally not good
Finally, i am not the only one to put wicked cyclone at #1. If superman got new gen intamin trains, my rating could switch.
I could see that!

Yeah, not a great ride haha
No disrespect to anyone who likes Thunderbolt, but to me, Thunderbolt is literally the most mediocre ride at Six Flags New England.
Agreed, especially with the wait. Since they only run one train, I spent like 30 minutes waiting for it when I went.
The wait for Thunderbolt is actually longer than Superman most of the time.😂

I recently visited this park, and superman was probably my favorite ride to watch while waiting. It just glides along the track so smoothly

I love the theming, but the trim brakes...
Yes bro I went on it it’s too rough and hurt my hip that day
Bracing for impact is what makes wild mouse rides fun lol
If you want a 2024 update on your #11 pick: it's now a painful ride. Nobody had fun nor was in line which should've been a sign
I've never been there before this year but it must've deteriorated in 2 years because I almost had bruised hips
Catwoman whip was my first ever roller coaster and 7 years later I’ve been on every ride including Superman and wicked cyclone, I still love catwoman

I can see that! Both great rides!
I might be going to this park soon. Thanks for the info 😄
I am going to Six Flags tomorrow for the last day because I have the season passes
Six Flags used to sign a little

Just do it! What I've learned is to just stop overthinking. When you do it, you're gonna have fun, trust me.
Also, if you want less of that stomach dropping feeling I recommend sitting in the front of the train, it gives you more of a sense of speed than intensity
i went a few weeks ago, going again next week but we got front row of superman and it was the most memorable experience ever. it was so fun
I rode every coaster here in one day too!!
I haven't heard of this place, seems cool
Yeah you should really ride Great Chase
It is a way different experience with the flash pass it is
Flashback is my favorite
Flash back last on list
I liked riddlers revenge the best personally it was just super fun for me
Is wicked cyclone scarier than Superman
Depends on what scares you
@@amusementscape the first drop. Im going tomorrow
Yeah then Superman would be scarier
@@amusementscape ok thanks

thunderbolt and ridler should switch
OMG AT 0:31 IS ME AND MY BIG BROTHER
Ok
