Hades 360 may be the obvious choice for Wisconsin because it's the best coaster at the state's only major park, but don't sleep on the lone coaster at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay, the Zippin Pippin. It's a wooden coaster that features a bunch of nice floater hills, punctuated with a shocking ejector hill near the end of the ride. It's a reconstruction of the signature ride at the defunct Libertyland theme park in Memphis.
With the exception of Missouri, which I might get to next summer, I've been to every major park in the Midwest. My favorite coaster in Minnesota is Renegade at Valleyfair. My favorite in Wisconsin is Hades 360 at Mt. Olympus. My favorite in Michigan is Shivering Timbers at Michigan's Adventure. My favorite in Indiana is The Voyage at Holiday World. My favorite in Kentucky is Storm Chaser at Kentucky Kingdom. My favorite in Iowa is Monster at Adventureland. My favorite in Ohio is Steel Vengeance at Cedar Point. Finally, my favorite in Illinois is Maxx Force at Six Flags Great America.
Storm Chaser was the 1st RMC in the US to feature the barrel roll down drop but the 1st RMC in North America to feature a barrel roll down drop was Medusa Steel Coaster at Six Flags Mexico. Medusa is also the only RMC I ever ridden so far
Most seem to say Outlaw Run is the best because of the slow launches on Time Traveler, but I’ve seen some people say outlaw run is getting rough. Interesting take!
i visited sdc recently (mid september) and outlaw run rode pretty smooth! i didnt get jackhammered or destroyed by the pothole or anything, it was sorta bumpy buy its wooden.
Of all to these, literally the only one I’ve ridden is Shivering Timbers. My runner up in Michigan are pretty much the other woodies at MiA and Woodstock Express. I haven’t ridden Corkscrew, Thunderhawk, or Mad Mouse.
Bro Mr freeze should have took top for MO I might go to silver dollar city but six flags stl is a good park to thanks for not leaving American Thunder and Mr freeze out.
It was hard to follow where you were saying things were at. Like I vaguely remember you saying one of the best coasters is in Indiana but I don't know where. And I think you said to ignore Kings Island but I'm not sure. And maybe there isn't anything in Michigan so you go to Cedar Point in Ohio? And I completely lost you on Illinois. And maybe there is only one place in Wisconsin? And Iowa? And Missouri? Yeah, you kinda lost me.

@@kingscoastersIt’s really rough at the moment, Zippin Pippin is definitely smoother.

I agree with all of them except great America, as raging bull is an elite coaster

RIP BIG OOH Nebraskas first coaster
outlaw run because even though it’s a little short, the airtime sends you out of your seat

Outlaw run is hands down the best coaster in Missouri

Corn is midwest
Lol, I’m an illinoisian, and you can’t drive anywhere too far from where I live without passing miles of cornfields.
