The Killers are a Las Vegas-based four-piece who formed in 2003, featuring the talents of singer/keyboardist Brandon Flowers, drummer Ronnie Vanucci, guitarist Dave Keuning and bassist Mark Stoermer. This is a song that is painful to listen to. Not because it's bad, but because of the memories it brings. The passion in Flowers' voice is among the best and his performance of this song makes you feel something. Incredible song.
I feel like most of the Killers songs are connected and Brendon is talking about the same girl from Mr. Brightside. It's a really cool concept how he tells the same story in different ways through different songs.

Las Vegas is literally a REBELS and HOCKEY town now! Its unbelievable how big Hockey is in the city. You gotta actually live in the city to get a feel how big it is. The Raiders and even a NBA team would never be this big. Could be big for the visitors but it will never have the impact the NHL Knights has had onto the city. It's a massive success story! Ownership did everything right and they continue to do things BIG and the RIGHT WAY!

Yea, singing it out loud, the strong emphasis I always hit the word "Buried" with, is to crush the memories after the word "Paradise". This song, and "Be Still" helped me get through the darkest period of my life.

Ha de ser porqué Battle born suena mas a rock alternativo, y en sus discos anteriores tienes la esencia de el rock indie. De igual forma me encanto este disco.

I swear Brandon Flowers owns a TIME MACHINE and his obvious love and adoration for 80's music takes him for a cosmic ride back there where he finds some magic dust disguised as something back in those days and teleports himself back into modern time...and goes to work on songs...there's no other way. The songs are all so good.

You may say I'm crazy, but I this album was one of their best and it was put together so well and once again they have reinvented themselves sounds like they are taking the plunge through the decades they were obviously in the 80s and the new album based off the new single definitely going through the 70s now!

I love the killers. This record was clearly very influenced by Bruce Springsteen. This song specifically, is very similar to the Springsteen song "The River." Both in lyrics and imagery.
Brandon has said all of his vocals are inspired by Bruce.
