Hope you all enjoyed this one! Feel free to let me know any other videos you'd want to see next as well as your favourite Tyrannosaurus type Zoid down here in the comments.
Shield Liger that’s pretty intense haha biggest build I’ve done is the Iron Kong PK which took me quite a while. Enjoy the Berzerk Fury build it’s really a good one!
I agree! I just started watching Wild Zero today actually and it seems pretty good so far, reminds me a little more of a Gundam series and more story driven which could be a good sign.
Honestly, I just searched zoids on TH-cam and it quickly lead to your channel. I absolutely love seeing that this stuff isn't as dead as I thought. Keep up the awesome work!!
Corvous R. Voltaire haha thanks for stopping by! I’ll definitely be posting more videos regarding Zoids in the future but I’d strongly recommend the r/Zoids subreddit for a good fix of Zoid related things too and it’s a great little community.
I like how the Tyrannosaurus Zoids in Zoids Wild are starting to look far more like actual actual Tyrannosauruses. I still like the mold started by the Geno Saurer, but it's hard to compete the authentic T-Rex look.
You missed the Geno Hydra, Geno Hydra KA, and Geno Breaker Jet Type A and Type B. Additionally, the Bloody Demon and Death Meteor. These are all worth mentioning, I thought lol.
@@Viseak there are so many, it is easy to miss a few. Especially if you don't comb the wiki and Iron Bible to make sure you get each and every single one.
A slight correction with the Shadow & Geno Breaker time limit: Normal Organoids can only fuse with the Geno Breaker for 60 seconds, but Shadow could do it for 180 seconds, which Reese pointed out was beyond impressive.
Awesome video and I love how much depth you put into your explanation videos of different Zoids. I loved the Saurer Zoids as a kid cause of how scary they looked and how all the characters treated them as piloted nukes.
MrBerg4ever thanks man! I feel the same way about the pilots too, definitely wanting to make a character analysis on some of them in the future, Raven in particular is a favourite of mine.
MrBerg4ever Raven is quite literally my favourite overall Character in anime, although there are arguably much better written characters out there, for me at least no other character hits me the same way Raven does.
I’m probably the biggest zoid fan ever and extremely happy I’ve found this channel! I’ve since started a Saurer collection and just missing the Holotech HMM to make it complete. What are the odds you think they’d ever re-release it?
First off, I love your video! I can't remember where I heard it, but the three Genosaurer's in New Century were said to be "copies". Like not "true" Genosaurers in a way where they were just clones of a clone. Making them much weaker than a "real" Genosaurer. I wish I could remember where I found this information and it's highly likely I'm totally wrong anyway. Also, in Zoids Saga 2/Legacy, you can actually acquire a Bloody Death Saurer when you fight it in the dungeon. It takes a bit of doing, but it's possible, and you can then customize it and use it on your team. I'm full of useless Zoids lore/ information so if you need anything hit me up :)
BILL REX thanks for watching and subscribing man much appreciated! The Zoids HMM model kits are fantastic and if you ever get the opportunity to pick one up I’d strongly recommend it, they’re great fun to build.
The Bio Tyranno is mad, I’m more of a Bio Volcano guy myself though. If you haven’t seen the Zoids Genesis anime (which the bio Zoids are from) I’d strongly recommend it!
@@Viseak I am also a Bio Volcano fan, I just hold Tyranno in high regard. I will definitely try to check out the anime, and speaking of bio zoids, have you made a video on them?
Hi! This will most likely get lost in the ocean of comments on this video but I just wanted to thank you since your channel got me into zoids I saw the Netflix show but I knew it wasn't like the other zoid shows so I went to youtube to see more about the show so when I found your channel going this in depth with zoids I was hooked the amount of effort in these videos amazed me more then when I first found the show and if I didn't find your channel I probably wouldn't of got into zoids so much thank you
Awesome video man. I'm just now getting into Zoids and only seen the Zero series. Slowly watching more, so I can become more familiar with the franchise. Next month I'll be promoting Zoids on my channel, so you may see more people talking about it (hopefully).
Thanks heaps and that’s awesome man! I’d strongly recommend checking out Chaotic Century and Genesis they’re a lot more story based and really great. Awesome to hear you’re getting into Zoids and potentially promoting it, the more Zoids stuff out there the better haha
The Legacy of Zoids Anime Franchise is the best all around genre story for me and much more better than the present anime and by the way nice mentioned on the Bio Volcano in your video #SaluteZoidsForever
How couldn’t I mention the Volcano, it’s probably my favourite design to come out of Genesis that thing was insane and Zairin is an amazing character to go with it. Zairin and Raven are some of my favourite antagonists in fiction as a whole and are characters I’ll probably make videos on at some point in the future.
So just to help with some missing knowledge for Wild and Wild Zero, the Death Rex does not have a particle cannon, but a drill and is also shown eating other smaller zoids. Before being thrown into the volcano the main villain was knocked off and it was about to stop fighting as it was more forced into it only for the villain surprise everyone by climbing back on. In Wild Zero the Omega Rex is actually a Death Rex, not related to the one in Wild, that was converted with new armor and a recovered CPC that was considered lost tech as the plot features humans from Zi coming to Earth's past by a time warp. It is also pretty much confirmed to be the final big bad after the Geno Spino.
Thanks for the info! The whole concept of them being on Earth rather than Zi explains a lot that’s gone on with the series. I’ll need to find somewhere to watch Wild and Wild Zero and give it a go sometime soon.
Man I was watching zoids models kit review and came across your channel, I'm definitely subscribing, never thought that some one would do videos about zoids and go into details.
Francisco Lozada thanks man much appreciated! Got plenty more Zoids videos lined up to be produced including more based around the anime as well as more in depth ones like this too.
Genosaurer is still my fave out of the smaller scales growing up and I did own the original model kit. My sister got mad at me and threw something at me as a kid and it got hit on the shelf where I was displaying it and went into a REALLY bad fall and that's how my Genosaurer's reign on my shelf ended. I still dream of owning the original Genosaurer again and building an original Death Saurer as well. I always wanted that big model kit but it was expensive where I lived and of course nobody would buy a 10 year old kid at the time something like that...except if you're from a rich family. I saw a kid get gifted an Ultrasaurus that was already built for his birthday and I found it so sacrilegious. The people that gifted him that took away the fun out of building the Zoid itself. What's much worse was when he was pulling it out of the box, bits and pieces were falling off. Like yeah that's bad. Another thing I wanna build is Gojulas Giga, I found a "complete" un-built set as the guy selling it at a toy convention said and when I opened it at home, it was missing his core where everything connects. That broke my heart. I don't know if I still have it in a box my basement or gave it away to a friend when we moved a couple of months ago to let him deal with finding the missing core on Ebay or something. Sucks that Zoids in general are too expensive now if you wanna collect the original stuff released in the 90's to mid 2000's Fuzors. I doubt Takara will ever re-release them cause the cost of plastic is just too much nowadays.
Clynton Minott honestly I’ve finally begun to watch Wild Zero and it’s really good so far. I really think they need to diverge the series into other multimedia though like a solid PlayStation or Switch Game could really solidify the series in the west, because as much as I love model kits, I’ve noticed plenty of kids wouldn’t have the patience for them, but then again kids seem to love lego? I can see it being hard to make the franchise what it use to be but I think it’s definitely possible and hey, people over in Japan seem to be loving it with model kits everywhere so why can’t people in the west haha.
oz88 og potentially something I’ll look into in the future, I’d probably have to merge it with another sub type though as off the top of my head I can only think of two scorpion type zoids
Not only did they have the deathsaurer model kits but they also released a 6 inch Vinyl deathsaurer figure in 1999 by Tomy & a 5 inch deathsaurer figure with a missile launcher backpack & a missile for the mouth & that figure was produced by Hasbro & released in 2003
Zack Rosado would’ve been awesome to see Raven with the Geno Breaker vs Vega in the Berzerk fury but alas they’re from two different times. There is a battle scene between the Geno Breaker and Berserk Fury Shadow Edge in the manga though, Raven slices the Geno breaker up in like one panel it’s very one sided haha.
Okay, I waited all the way through this time to make sure it wasn't covered in the video, but you forgot the Geno Hydra and its variants :P. These have been really fun videos to watch, it's always good to see more Zoids love. Show off your collection soon if you get the chance. I would love to see it!
Creativitea haha damn there’s always something I miss. I’m definitely keen to make a video on my collection but I’m hoping to finish my backlog of kits so I can include them before making it. But who knows I might get impatient and make it sooner rather than later
@@Viseak I had put a comment that you had forgotten the Trinity Liger on the last video and submitted it about 5 seconds before you said it in Video so I had to delete it. But the Geno-Hydra always seems to be forgotten even though it's such a cool concept. But I say do it! Nothing to be ashamed about in your backlog. But if you want to finish that first, I totally understand.
Creativitea yeah the Geno Hydra is pretty awesome. There’s one specific kit in my backlog that I’m saving until last to give me motivation to finish my other kits, however that’s also the kit I want to get done to show in the video so it’s a bit of a loop I’ve got myself in 😅
Finally this came out //:) recently got the HMM Berserk Fury which is my favorite tyranosaurid zoid. The Bio Tyrano for me is the boss. There is something really scary about it plus all that fire power. Also, the zoids in Zoids Wild are earth based zoids. Which mean that these zoids are the earth cousins of the ones from Planet Z. Also you may want to include content on demonslayer, the latest gundam series reviews, and etc... :)
Haha sorry for keeping you waiting! The Berserk Fury is an amazing HMM, I've had mine for a while but recently got a flying base neo for it and it's really brung the kit to life on display. That lore on wild would explain why it's so different from the original, I really do need to make time to watch those series. I'm almost finished Demonslayer so I might end up making a video on that, haven't started watching any new Gundam Series yet though. Thanks for watching and commenting, it's much appreciated!
I like the Jagd Fury. Wish it could be made into a model or at least have its parts be made into an interchangeable armor selection for the Hmm Berserk Fury.
Shame the Gojulas got done dirty (although Fuzors does one thing right and give the Giga lots of spotlight). i wish we could've seen the King Gojulas in the anime. That thing based on its wiki entry is a monster. Based on its armament alone it makes the Death Saurer look like a cat in comparison. In Zoids Legacy there are variations of the Geno Breaker that were not mentioned which were the Geno Hydra as well as the Bloody Demon which is like a giant Geno Saurer with huge claws on it. Death Saurer in that game also had a few variations too like the Bloody Death Saurer who you fight against in a secret boss fight against Hiltz. Then there's the Death Meteor which is like an improved Death Saurer with more features and was used by the antagonist of that game, making it the final boss. The Berserk Fury was my favourite zoid kit that I had as well as my favourite zoid in the anime.
Luke Mitchell you’re right the Gojulas really deserved more spotlight and the King Gojulas really deserved an anime appearance too. There’s this really cool animation featuring the King Gojulas butchering a bunch of death saurers which is probably the best representation of the King Gojulas we’ll ever get, if you haven’t seen it before you can find it here: th-cam.com/video/05ZTqD0GTvY/w-d-xo.html The Berserk Fury is definitely an awesome kit too the HMM is one of my favourites.
Absolutely love all your videos on Zoids! Can you please make a video on your trip to Japan and the places you bought your hmm kits from? I was wondering if those stores shipped to America too. Thanks!!
My man! You did it! Also yeah, how was Japan? Congrats on the load of model kits! I actually just bought my first-ever HMM , the Zero Jäger; but open cracking open the box, I kinda quailed a little bit in the face of its complexity. I just started building Gunpla like a month ago, so I think I need to do some more lower grade kits to get my eye in before I feel confident about assembling it. That said, I’ve already started socking money away for the rest of the Liger Zero line and either a Berkserk Fuhrer or a Sturm Tyrann. And yeah, don’t worry too much about losing us if you diversify your content. Obviously we’d love to see you getting more subs and views, and if that ultimately means bringing Zoids content to a wider audience, great! But I feel like most people sub to channels because they like the person creating the content, not *just* the content exclusively. I’d love to see what other kinds stuff you come up with and apply your creative talents to. Anyways, cheers, and I hope you’re well with all the craziness that’s gripping the world at the moment.
Hey thanks for the kind words man really appreciate it! Japan was fantastic and I made it home just before half the world turned into a quarantine zone, so I definitely got lucky. The Jäger is an awesome kit and definitely has some complex bits to it from memory (as most HMM’s do) but is still a really fun build! I passed on the Tyrann a while back actually cause I’ve already got the Fuhrer and had to tell myself I didn’t NEED it haha. Both are awesome looking models though. Thanks again for the support and sticking around for whatever I decide to put out next, definitely gets me motivated to piece my next video together soon. Who knows maybe if Australia gets put into lockdown I’ll have enough time on my hands to produce a video in less than a month this time. But yeah stay safe, don’t forget to social distance and all that jazz. Hopefully this whole situation will blow over sooner rather than later.
Yeah, likewise bud, take care of yourself. Actually, if you have any questions about the virus or health/safety procedures specifically, please let me know. My sister-in-law is a molecular biologist who’s been researching Covid-19 for the last 4 years, so she’s actually one of the most expert people on the virus in the country, if not the world. I’ve been telling everyone I know that if they have anything specific they’d like to ask, just let me know and I’ll pass it on. I’m trying to get her to do an AMA on reddit, haha, but we’ll see how that goes. I’m curious: what kinds of things are you thinking of for your content in the near-future? You don’t have to be too specific/granular if you’d like to kinda keep it a secret, but I’m just curious. I know we’ve talked about cars a bit, but I’d love to get a sense of what else is on your mind as far as stuff you’d be interested in putting out. What’re some other things you’re into? Gaming, I assume? What kinda games if so? Also, if you feel like it, I would love to see a video - even if it’s just a real short little vlog - on your model collection. As mentioned, I’m just starting out in the hobby; being under lockdown seemed to be the perfect time to get into a new pastime as a way to fill the hours. So far, I’ve only put together a HGAC Leo. I have a RG Wing Zero Custom (Gundam Wing and G Gundam are my favourite Gundam series) and the aforementioned HMM Jäger. I ordered a HG Barbatos and HG Tallgeese III from Gundam Planet that should be arriving tomorrow, as I wanted to get some more practice on easier kits before I break into the RG/HMM. My tentative next purchase is a Kotobukiya Anubis from Zone of the Enders - as much as I want a Berserk Fuhrer, the ZoE kits are so rare that I really want to lock that down before they disappear entirely, haha. Anyways, I’ll stop rambling for the time being - as always, great to hear from you, and keep up the excellent work. I hope that things in Oz don’t get as bad as they are here. At the very least you can take comfort in the notion that your ruling political body can’t *possibly* be as incompetent and frankly, insane, as ours is. Cheers, all the best -NB
halocin an AMA is actually a great idea, there’s so many media headlines going around presenting so much misinformation at the moment so the more reputable sources shedding light on Covid the better to be honest, knowledge truely is power in situations like this. In terms of other videos there’s plenty of other things I’d want to talk about, as much as I love cars though I feel like although I want to broaden my videos I still kinda want to keep a bit of a theme for the channel, and it tends to be a lot of ‘nerd’ related things like anime/manga, gaming and model kits. So it would probably be things like that. Currently I’ve just gotten into fire emblem and have been thinking of making a video about that as it’s easily moved into one of my top 10 games ever, but I enjoy heaps of other games too like halo, borderlands, uncharted, cod and Pokémon from the top of my head. What sort of games do you enjoy man? I’ve also been wanting to make a video on the Tokyo Ghoul manga because it’s truly amazing and I feel as though the anime was done so poorly and gave it such a bad reputation which is a real shame. Im also definitely looking to do a video of my model collection, I just want to finish the last 3 kits in my backlog before I go ahead with that, although that might take some time so there’s a chance I’ll get impatient and do it sooner, unless of course I end up in a full lockdown then I’ll have plenty of time to finish them hahaha. I don’t have too many Gundams as I always found them so small compared to the Zoids and could never justify spending the money on a Perfect Grade for the nice scale, mainly because I’d always end up finding a Zoid I’d want just that bit more and as much as I do love Gundam and it’s anime too, Zoids for me at least has always held the top spot. I’ve been building these kits for years too so I don’t really feel intimidated by the difficulty anymore I feel like I’ve seen it all at this point, it’s mainly the time that always gets me, I had an Iron Kong PK that took me nearly a year to get done just because I had a really hectic year and could just never find time to sit down and finish it. They’re definitely a lot of fun to build though and honestly once you work up to the HMM Jager and finish that I think it’ll be smooth sailing from then on out. I just had a look at that Anubis as well and that looks awesome so I can see why you’d want to pick that one up! Oh and trust me, I feel like the whole of Australia is against our PM right now as he really hasn’t redeemed himself after the way he acted during our busy fire crisis. But anyway I’ll try and steer away from politics that’s a whole other debate hahahaha. Have a good one man, and all the best to you too, hope to see you around on the next video!
I think a top 10 games list would be a stellar idea! People love lists, and that would be a great way to introduce another side to your channel. To answer your question about my tastes: I tend to play a pretty wide spread of stuff, mostly single player, story-focused games. My favourite games that I’ve played recently are Death Stranding, Devil May Cry 5, and I’m currently working my way through Final Fantasy XV and Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey. Oh, and I do tend to spend at least a couple of hours a week playing Destiny 2, although I haven’t for a little while, just because I’m not really into the latest mini-expansion. I’ve been pretty console-focused for the past several years, but I’m actually about to put together a new PC, which I haven’t done for...Christ, over 10 years, so I’m a little worried that I’m gonna cock it up, but hopefully it’s as simple as I remember it being, haha. I have a bunch of friends who only play stuff on PC, so I figured it was time to get back into that arena as a way of staying in touch while it’s harder to see people in person. Anyways, yeah! As I said, I can’t wait to see whatever you come up with next. Cheers, and stay safe and healthy out there!
im a little late to the party but you did skip the Gojulas Irvine custom ..... though is was only in like one or two scenes in chaotic century. great video tho! :)
Need to add that you forgot a hidden gem as the Geno Breaker Jet has 2 versions A and B ala Gojulas Mariner, that were featured in the same online comics. but great video a lot of forgotten content.
Just add to here recently is the Xeno Rex from Zoids wild senki... I think it's our 3rd protagonist zoid in the wild era... Not a liger this time so that's cool and it's a Trex type... The Xeno Rex 3 (or 4) forms... It's initial size is the baby form i think it's around a size of a Rev Raptor or Gilraptor... Then it has the evolution blast form it grows into a size of a Geno Saurer i think... But it's just the Xeno Rex but bigger... Next is XA scissors form aka the Geno Breaker form... The first armor evolution of the Xeno Rex... It's a form that give the Xeno Rex additional weapons similar to the Geno Breaker scissors... And in it's evolution burst it's armor turns white... The 3rd one is XA buster aka the Gojilas 2 form... The final armor of the Xeno Rex in zoids wild senki used against the Zero Grazis (the true big bad of the zoids wild and senki)... This form gives the Xeno Rex a bunch guns, missiles and 2 huge cannons has gravity cannon shells... With the help of the Burning Ligers of the rival Imperial army they took down the Zero Grazis... When in evolution blast mode the armor turns black this time... There is a 4th armor call Xeno Rex storm not enough information about that... And i wish this gets a HMM...
The Zero Grizis is one of the best looking Zoids to come out of the Wild franchise, I really need to catch up with Wild Zero and see this thing in action.
I prefer the Breaker over the Fury because it can fly, fire it's CPC without having to lock down and has a more useful and interesting variation of weapons.
Michael Freeman hey that’s awesome man in terms of HMM’s I only have about half of that, anything particularly rare or some favourites you’ve got in your collection?
Where do I start I just finished the lightning saix and loved it Gojulas the ogre would have to be the biggest build I have done I don’t think I have anything rare 😂 how about yourself
Michael Freeman Ey I just finished the lightning saix a couple of weeks ago, still kind of wish I could’ve taken the ogre I found in Japan back to aus with me it definitely looks awesome. The ‘rarest’ thing I have is probably the Holotech blade liger from the blue ray box, still hunting down the Holotech Zero though. Not sure if I’ll ever find one but the Holotech Berzerk Fury HMM is a rare kit I’d love to have one day but I’ve only ever seen the one on the subreddit and I don’t think many more exist especially unbuilt hahaha
That would have been cool, it’s such a big kit it’s daunting haha, I’m on the strum tyrann now o my done the head so far lol, I’d love to go to Japan to get some exclusive kits! Oh the beserk fury! I have built that it was so much fun! I wish you could see everything I have built haha
Michael Freeman yeah 100% the Berserk Fury is an awesome build, I got mine displayed on a flying base neo and it’s made me appreciate it a lot more. There’s so many Zoids over the years I’ve had opportunities to get and passed up on and regret it now tbh, like years ago I saw a psycho Geno Saurer and shadow fox and not too long ago a strum tyrann here in Sydney but passed on them, definitely wish I had em in my collection nowadays haha. You should post some pictures of your collection on the r/Zoids subreddit and link me the posts I’d be more than happy to check them out!
Николай hmm I’m pretty sure there’s only around 2 Elephant type Zoids, the Elephander and the new Zero Phantoth from Wild Zero. Probably not quite enough for a whole video but maybe I can add it onto another genre in the future like I did including the lightning saix in the Wolf video.
Happy Majin honestly the battle story is definitely something I want to cover in the future, I really just need to learn more about it first. I’ve read a decent sum of it but I’ll definitely need to read more before I can make a whole video or perhaps even multiple videos covering it as there’s quite a lot to cover
@@Viseak indeed, you're definitely going to have quite a bit of vids on it if you plan to cover it. Especially if you plan to go detailed and possibly chronological order. I've piled together a small incomplete list of Zoids by their registration number if it'll help... Though atm I only have those that the Helic Republic used. Would you like that list? If so, whee do I send it?
They did Gojulas dirty in the anime. The Gojulas is considered much much more powerful in the battle story than it is in the series, the Ogre was supposed to be on pair with most modern Zoids of the time because the Ogre system was a modified version of the Organoid System but much more unstable. It's a shame we only saw the Gojulas as it was meant to be in Chaotic Century and Herman went and toppled it... Shame 😕
Nice seeing some love for Zoids. But for the record, the Gojulas Giga was actually based on the Giganotosaurus, not the Tyrannosaurus. Also you say nobody defeated the Geno Breaker, while showing it get wrecked by the Death Stinger. lol. Personally I find the defeat of the Geno Saurers in New Century was more the result of the pilots just standing still rather than shooting the Berserk Fury while it was charging its weapons. I'm amazed at the idea of the Zoids mangas not featuring the Death Saurer.
dragonstormx did not know it was based on the Gigantosauras the more you know. Did I say nobody defeated it haha I was suppose to say the Guardian Force never defeated the Geno Breaker which does hold true, and i agree the failure of the Geno Saurers in New Century come down a lot to the pilot, however the Berzerk Fury is a monster in its own right, I’d strongly recommend reading the manga so you can see how crazy it can be when piloted by Raven.
KratosAz definitely won’t forget that one! I’ve currently got a skeleton of a script for that video set up and I just need to flesh it out before I go ahead and record it. Might be a while till it drops but it’s coming!
if i remember correctly geno saurers are literally just small versions of the death saurer right? (commenting before watching the video) oh okay, yep im right. cool!
Is Zoids still a popular franchise? I just bumped into another video about zoids that reawakened forgotten memories of this series and id forgotten just how COOL this series is and i wanted to know now if its still avaliable or popular
Linkophere in the west it isn’t too popular anymore, however it appears to be gaining some steam with the new Zoids wild series now on Netflix, Wild Zero set out to have a complete english dub and the Zoids Wild Switch game coming out in the west too. In Japan it still seems to be as popular as ever with the Kotobukiya HMM kits of the old series zoids, and Tomy producing kits for Zoids wild. While I was over in Japan I saw Zoids in stores pretty much everywhere which I haven’t personally seen in over a decade or two.
would love to see a video about zoids in japan and your experience there, im going back there soon and am looking to pick some more zoids up. on my first trip i found them really hard to find so any insight would be cool
007games I’ll definitely consider making a video on where to find Zoids in particular throughout Japan, if I’m honest throughout Tokyo at least they seemed to be everywhere in the most random of shops I didn’t expect, part of me wants to keep some stores I found a secret to myself though because they had some seriously old and expensive kits and my guess is that just nobody thought to look in some of these shops because they aren’t in Akihabara or something.
the Gojulas was fairly impressive. but two prototype super heavy cannons on back were absolutley rediculous, way too heavy and made it extremely difficult for the pilot to traverse and balance, but this was military defense, a static cannon basically, likely to be paired with a couple lines of stegasaurus types, or better yet more Gojulas with lesser armorments, that can maintain their lower weight agility. geno-saurer and breaker were wonderful, perfect balance of speed and offensive abilities. pity there wasnt more Good pilots in the show, mostly out of practice or never practiced soldiers. i really wanted more. berserk fury was crazy and id very much love to have it xD rev-raptor was another i liked and thought it was played down right from the get go, right up till Vaan steals/borrows one and shows what a Decent pilot can do in it. Deathsaurer xD endgame zoid said to destroy without disrcimination everything infront of it.. super over powered cant comment on Fuzors i couldnt get into it. i loved ncz and cc. i will look into wilds
Probably part of the minority here but I like the Gairyuki the most among all of the saurus Zoids out there. I didn't really followed Fuzors but the Gairyuki's look and the color scheme are awesome. It's just a shame that it's not massively produced.
Allen Pollack hey man awesome to hear you’re trying to make a Zoids campaign, sounds like it would be fun. In terms of model lists do you mean more videos like this where I discuss the Zoids themselves alongside their different models? Or something a bit different?
Allen Pollack okay cool, I’ll definitely be doing more of these videos however I do have a few other projects in the works before another Zoids video so it may be a little bit of a wait
It's about someone did a channel that actually does Zoids. While I love Star Wars and Trek, I've been seriously thinking what a channel that covers Zoids lore could look like. You're still missing lore from the Battle Stories, and trying to make your coverage more in-universe could make for a more fascinating template. Okay, what the hell happened to the rest of what I typed here? Anyways, and example would be speculations and analyzations into Zoid strengths. For example, the combat role of a given Zoid. Most Gojira/Tyrannosaurus types appear to have been Front-Line Superiority Units, analogous to Main Battle Tanks. For better or worse, we don't have armored units or artillery with anywhere the performance capabilities of something like a Gojulas, let alone a Geno Breaker. But Geno Trooper likely took on the same role as Attack Fighters like the A-10 Warthog or Attack Helicopters like the AH-64 Apache: terrorizing the hell out of armored divisions, which on Zi would mean mostly everything that isn't flying faster. Another example would be mentioning Proto Gojulas Giga, and presumably at least some production units, were equipped with variants of a pair of cheek mounted weapons (I presume they are small bore beam cannons for small Zoid units), a pair of buster claws based off of the Mad Thunder's Magnesser Horns, and a pair of Booster Cannons. This of course makes more sense than leaving your front-line units without any ranged weaponry.
Where in Japan did you find so many Zoids stocked like that? Other than some very small sections in the Kotobukiya store and AmiAmi in Akihabara, they seemed very hard to find for me. Especially the older non-HMM ones and the gachapon.
Jan Padron honestly it was hard not to find them for me at least, any random store in Akihabara would usually have a bunch just chilling on some back shelf. Usually you’d have to go up like 8 floors to these random no name stores or underground but there were definitely a bunch everywhere, named stores like Jungle and Yellow submarine had them as well. You can even look outside of Akihabara, any store where you see figures or gunpla more than likely will have some, just gotta go off the beaten path a bit and I guess just get lucky haha
That’s awesome man! I’ve been considering making a custom one with a Geno Saurer HMM but HMM’s are so pricey it scares me to mess around with them haha
Also the real deathsaurer in the final episode of Zoids cc Guardian Force, it's Zoid core fused with the Deathstinger's zoid core making it the ultimate Deathsaurer, reason its ultimate is because it gained the Deathstinger's energy shield ability more durable armor & the particle intake fan turned into a charged particle converter just like what the genobreaker has & it's much larger than the one prozen cloned & how i found that out I looked on zoids.fandom.com & more than likely the one hiltz piloted is possibly 80 meters tall heck maybe even 100 meters
I guess Gojulas can pass off as a Tyranno even though it's inspired by Godzilla (which Death Saurer 100% is and no tinge of Tyrannosaurus). The first true T.rex inspired Zoids got to be the Genos.
When i was a kid zoids was everywhere. Everytime you enter malls or any town the first thing that you will stumble upon are zoids model kits. What happened its like where just a relic in the past. You dont see that happened to gundam, beyblades. Well i guess we share the same fate with tamiya and crushgear but zoids are something in the lengths of gundam. Where did zoids go wrong what happened?
Within the west Zoids pretty much ended with Fuzors, the English dub was never completed and it seems like sales just tanked so they disappeared soon after, I still remember the days when you could just go into shopping centres and see Zoids everywhere too. In Japan Genesis pretty much marked an end for the series as the models did not sell well at all due to them being half built out of the box, which was quite disappointing, the only company thats honestly done the Genesis kits right is supernova who essentially made bootleg upscale kits of the Kotobukiya ZA figures. However now with Wild and Wild Zero, Zoids has gained a good lot of popularity in Japan and while I was there it was awesome to just see Zoids pretty much everywhere like they use to be when I was a kid. Considering Wild Zero is getting a complete English dub and Wild is now on Netflix, hopefully one day we can see the same love for the series back in the west.
paola garcia I haven’t made one yet, however, I’ll definitely be making a video in the future on all the flying type Zoids, that includes the storm sworders as well as many others, I’ll even probably chuck in Zoids like the few dragons from Genesis
@@Viseak Thank you very much I will be waiting for that video, I love the flying Zoids (even though I am afraid of heights and traveling by plane ahahaha)
Hope you all enjoyed this one! Feel free to let me know any other videos you'd want to see next as well as your favourite Tyrannosaurus type Zoid down here in the comments.
How about a Raptor zoids vid?
Jose Munoz I think there would be enough raptors to make a dedicated video, I already stole the Bio Volcano for this one but could readdress that too
Shield Liger that’s pretty intense haha biggest build I’ve done is the Iron Kong PK which took me quite a while.
Enjoy the Berzerk Fury build it’s really a good one!
Shield Liger haha yeah fair enough, don’t think we had the comic here in Australia but yes I have heard of it, definitely an interesting collaboration
Viseak
Hey can we have a spinosaurus zoids video cause I really like the genospino so I am looking forward to that
Huge zoid fan here. We just need a good anime to shoot it's popularity again.
I agree! I just started watching Wild Zero today actually and it seems pretty good so far, reminds me a little more of a Gundam series and more story driven which could be a good sign.
Viseak
Where can you watch wild zero?!
I wanna see genospino genospino genospino
I got a genospino model kit
We need a game.
Godamn right, new century zero was the shit!
How about chaotic century remastered
Honestly, I just searched zoids on TH-cam and it quickly lead to your channel. I absolutely love seeing that this stuff isn't as dead as I thought. Keep up the awesome work!!
Corvous R. Voltaire haha thanks for stopping by! I’ll definitely be posting more videos regarding Zoids in the future but I’d strongly recommend the r/Zoids subreddit for a good fix of Zoid related things too and it’s a great little community.
Geno breaker is my favorite t-rex type and the berserk fury
I like how the Tyrannosaurus Zoids in Zoids Wild are starting to look far more like actual actual Tyrannosauruses. I still like the mold started by the Geno Saurer, but it's hard to compete the authentic T-Rex look.
Gojulas and the Rex type Zoids are my favorite. I love them
You missed the Geno Hydra, Geno Hydra KA, and Geno Breaker Jet Type A and Type B. Additionally, the Bloody Demon and Death Meteor.
These are all worth mentioning, I thought lol.
Geno Breaker I seem to always miss a couple in these videos, I’ll try not to miss any in the next one haha
@@Viseak there are so many, it is easy to miss a few. Especially if you don't comb the wiki and Iron Bible to make sure you get each and every single one.
Heck, I just realized in pointing out which ones you missed, I missed the Victory Rex lol
I was gonna type this exact comment lol
Zoids was my first anime and I instantly fell in love with the medium.
Zoids is very underrated. Hard to even find somewhere to watch the older series, which are the good ones.
The Besurk Fury and Geno Breaker can take on a whole army, also my favorite Zoids
Zoids antagonist be like
Tyrsnosaurus
Zoids protagonist be like
Lion
A slight correction with the Shadow & Geno Breaker time limit:
Normal Organoids can only fuse with the Geno Breaker for 60 seconds, but Shadow could do it for 180 seconds, which Reese pointed out was beyond impressive.
I think the gojulas was 1st seen in Ep1. Where Van is running towards the ruin with his flying board. He went on the top of inactive gojulas to hide
@@Viseak Raven, definitely one of the most underrated anti-heros in anime history. I've also had this theory that Vega is a descendant of his.
Video actually starts at 2:00
Underrated channel. Keep up the good work👌
Not Important cheers man much appreciated!
I've got a Gojulas Giga kit model. It's a sight to behold but feels smaller than it should.
Shadow can fuse with the Geno breaker for 3mins
Idk any Zoid lore but I love model kits and robo dinosaurs so this is pretty cool. Keep it up dude, I hope the best for your channel.
850th subscriber hell yeah
BILL REX thanks for watching and subscribing man much appreciated!
The Zoids HMM model kits are fantastic and if you ever get the opportunity to pick one up I’d strongly recommend it, they’re great fun to build.
@@Viseak sure thing!
I'm new to Zoids, but I remember getting into it through Bio Tyranno
The Bio Tyranno is mad, I’m more of a Bio Volcano guy myself though.
If you haven’t seen the Zoids Genesis anime (which the bio Zoids are from) I’d strongly recommend it!
@@Viseak I am also a Bio Volcano fan, I just hold Tyranno in high regard. I will definitely try to check out the anime, and speaking of bio zoids, have you made a video on them?
I’ve been a huge fan of solids since I was 6 I’m now 22 this year still love it
Hi! This will most likely get lost in the ocean of comments on this video but I just wanted to thank you since your channel got me into zoids I saw the Netflix show but I knew it wasn't like the other zoid shows so I went to youtube to see more about the show so when I found your channel going this in depth with zoids I was hooked the amount of effort in these videos amazed me more then when I first found the show and if I didn't find your channel I probably wouldn't of got into zoids so much thank you
Geno breaker, death stinger, liger zero variants are my goals. This christmas will be getting geno breaker. Im excited to build it
Awesome video man.
I have been patiently awaiting another video from you man. Excellent as always. Keep it up dude!
Thanks for waiting and sticking around man much appreciated!
@@Viseak gotta stick around for basically the only zoids youtuber. Was cool to see you mention the zoids subreddit as well.
Tyler haha that’s fair enough. I frequent the Zoids sub too so hey it deserved a mention.
@@Viseak I generally just lurk there and in the discord haha
I had the 2003 American release Genobreaker. Thank you for the information and trip down memory line
I'm with your mission! I been wanting to this for years! Omega is soo good. I think the Zoids Wild Zero series will take off.
I was wondering if u can do a video on scorpion type zoids
oz88 og potentially something I’ll look into in the future, I’d probably have to merge it with another sub type though as off the top of my head I can only think of two scorpion type zoids
@@Viseak oh ok
Xeno Rex,Geno breaker, and Bio Tyranno are my favorite
Not only did they have the deathsaurer model kits but they also released a 6 inch Vinyl deathsaurer figure in 1999 by Tomy & a 5 inch deathsaurer figure with a missile launcher backpack & a missile for the mouth & that figure was produced by Hasbro & released in 2003
I would love to see Geno Breaker vs. Berserk Fury. I think that would be an awesome battle
@@Viseak yeah that definetly sounds one sided. I thought it would be an awesome battle tho, despite them being 100 years apart
I have the 1999 Geno Breaker and Death Saurer.
I have only seen 6 or 7 episodes subbed of Zoids Wild.
There’s this really cool animation featuring the King Gojulas butchering a bunch of death saurers which is probably the best representation of the King Gojulas we’ll ever get, if you haven’t seen it before you can find it here: th-cam.com/video/05ZTqD0GTvY/w-d-xo.html
The Berserk Fury is definitely an awesome kit too the HMM is one of my favourites.
Cheers, all the best
-NB
halocin an AMA is actually a great idea, there’s so many media headlines going around presenting so much misinformation at the moment so the more reputable sources shedding light on Covid the better to be honest, knowledge truely is power in situations like this.
9:38 as a builder... I felt that. And it hurt badly.
im a little late to the party but you did skip the Gojulas Irvine custom ..... though is was only in like one or two scenes in chaotic century. great video tho! :)
God I hate what they did with Zoids Wild.
Geno saurer is one of the best looking zoids if all time
Need to add that you forgot a hidden gem as the Geno Breaker Jet has 2 versions A and B ala Gojulas Mariner, that were featured in the same online comics. but great video a lot of forgotten content.
I know this video was made before he debuted, but I like Zero Grizis. He reminds of Machinedramon
The Zero Grizis is one of the best looking Zoids to come out of the Wild franchise, I really need to catch up with Wild Zero and see this thing in action.
Man. I would love that Gojulas Ogre.
Vega & Raven are Goats the 2 best in the entire franchise. Van & Bit are him but Vega & Raven were a different breed entirely.
i loved using the genosaurer in battle legends
I prefer the Breaker over the Fury because it can fly, fire it's CPC without having to lock down and has a more useful and interesting variation of weapons.
Hey dude love the zoid content! I have 33/47 hmm zoids and live in aus too, you should do a vid of your collection! It would be great!
It would take approximately 4 SpaceX Starships + 4 Super Heavy Boosters fully fueled to launch the Death Saur into Low Earth Orbit (LEO).
Do the Elephander class zoids :>
Николай hmm I’m pretty sure there’s only around 2 Elephant type Zoids, the Elephander and the new Zero Phantoth from Wild Zero.
Probably not quite enough for a whole video but maybe I can add it onto another genre in the future like I did including the lightning saix in the Wolf video.
I found your Chanel yesterday and I fucks with it I live zoids and I've been looking for a good channel and I found keep being awesome
Thanks man! Definitely not much Zoids content around so I’m happy to populate youtube with a bunch of it.
I'm a huge fan of Zoids and I'd like to see some vids going into detail into the Battle story, which is better than the anime in my opinion
Shame 😕
Maybe I missed it but didn't remember hearing you talk about the furys CAS
Man... if only a current gen zoid game was released in the same vein as Horizon Zero Dawn
16:52 any thoughts on Dark Spinner? It rivals Gairyuki for me but I do enjoy some of the fuzors zoids
Very Good Video, but what about Geno Hydra?
Can I please ask what video editing program you use ? I love how your videos are so clean . Great production sir
louis thanks man much appreciated! I use Final Cut Pro X.
Viseak thanks for the info !
Love the videos man would love to see one on the command wolfs
KratosAz thats definitely something I’m looking into doing in the future as well.
Don’t forget to add the Konig wolf in there plz lol
KratosAz definitely won’t forget that one! I’ve currently got a skeleton of a script for that video set up and I just need to flesh it out before I go ahead and record it. Might be a while till it drops but it’s coming!
I know that Death Saurer is classified as a Tyrannosaurur Type, but it resembles a Therizinosauridae dinosaur.
Could you consider a video of all the dragon type zoids? There weren't a ton but a few of them were pretty neat.
Isteak80 I was looking at doing a video on raptors in the future so I could probably tack the dragons into that!
Gilvader pls
if i remember correctly geno saurers are literally just small versions of the death saurer right?
(commenting before watching the video)
oh okay, yep im right. cool!
I love zoids!!! Love from Kentucky.
'hope you do every tiger type next :)
Joshua Ezekiel Belandres I’ve definitely got that on the list of ideas, still need to write up a script for it and put in the research though haha
Could you possibly do every triceratops zoids?
Hi! where in Japan store did you buy your zoids haul? Thanks!
We need more zoids game that have adventure element RPG like zoids saga
Saw they just put out a gojulus hmm model for like $400....I'm really hoping that a hmm death saurer comes soon
Patrick Pm ooo where’d you see the Gojulas at? Been thinking of grabbing one ever since my failed mission brining on back from Japan
the Gojulas was fairly impressive. but two prototype super heavy cannons on back were absolutley rediculous, way too heavy and made it extremely difficult for the pilot to traverse and balance, but this was military defense, a static cannon basically, likely to be paired with a couple lines of stegasaurus types, or better yet more Gojulas with lesser armorments, that can maintain their lower weight agility.
geno-saurer and breaker were wonderful, perfect balance of speed and offensive abilities. pity there wasnt more Good pilots in the show, mostly out of practice or never practiced soldiers. i really wanted more.
berserk fury was crazy and id very much love to have it xD
rev-raptor was another i liked and thought it was played down right from the get go, right up till Vaan steals/borrows one and shows what a Decent pilot can do in it.
Deathsaurer xD endgame zoid said to destroy without disrcimination everything infront of it.. super over powered
cant comment on Fuzors i couldnt get into it.
i loved ncz and cc. i will look into wilds
We could said that Volcano is a "Pinocchio Rex"
How about now you do all tiger/zaber fang style zoids
Probably part of the minority here but I like the Gairyuki the most among all of the saurus Zoids out there. I didn't really followed Fuzors but the Gairyuki's look and the color scheme are awesome. It's just a shame that it's not massively produced.
Big zoid fan. Hey can you start doing more zoid model lists? I know there are a lot but I'm trying to run a zoid d&d campaign
Allen Pollack hey man awesome to hear you’re trying to make a Zoids campaign, sounds like it would be fun.
In terms of model lists do you mean more videos like this where I discuss the Zoids themselves alongside their different models? Or something a bit different?
@@Viseak I would like to see more videos like this and some going over different models, and showing off some of the lesser seen/ known ones
This of course makes more sense than leaving your front-line units without any ranged weaponry.
you should cover the Battle Story
If only Zoids could come back
The geno ritter has a model kit i actually own 1 im so lucky i got it from toys r us here in the philippines
Genobreaker is my favorite.. with raven at the pilot
@1:35
You should have bought that Gojulas the Ogre and sent back home via mail. You may not have another chance to find it again
Thanks for the info. The intro and outro were quite heavy, that could hurt sub rate.
What do you think is the best online retailer for buying zoids kits if you're in the US?
Dude. I hate to remind you of this. But the first gojulas in the anime is actually a ruined husk where he was hiding from that bandits guyzak.
The zoids in zoids wild has always bugged me in regards to size
Sorry, by any chance do you have any videos about flying zoids involving Pterasaurs like the storm sworder ?, is that they are my favorite zoids.
paola garcia I haven’t made one yet, however, I’ll definitely be making a video in the future on all the flying type Zoids, that includes the storm sworders as well as many others, I’ll even probably chuck in Zoids like the few dragons from Genesis
@@Viseak Thank you very much I will be waiting for that video, I love the flying Zoids (even though I am afraid of heights and traveling by plane ahahaha)
👈Zoid fan since 1984
