In this week's episode i head to a location that i've been to several times, the reason i keep going back is down to the ever changing nature of the place, cars come and go cars also sit for decades with not so much as a wash, This place will forever be a place that i will continue to explore, The owner (Harold) Is one of the nicest chaps you could ever meet, He's such a gentle touch and the type of fella you could spend hours chatting too, I do hope you enjoy this little treat of. a revisit, I certainly enjoyed it.

I gotta say seeing a Volvo thats been abandoned like that, its really rare here in Sweden. Every V70 from 2008 to 2016 is still being used as dailys. The early ones are unfortunately already been parted out for sale. If there would be a V70 that no one could take care of anymore, it would be lika a V70 p1 or p2 from the 90s - early 2000s
Js saying a volvo v70 p1 isnt a thing its actually called a p80 i own one (2.5T in dark red not sure the colour code) but in them engines you have to be careful about the cylinder linings mine is pushing 350bhp any more and it will blow 👍
Great video Stu, i think the problem with most car nowadays is the price to get repairs done if unable to sort out yourself, i have a discovery 4 and everything is £750 or over every time there’s a problem, so I would say that most of the cars parked up is probably down to the cost of repairs, it’s a shame but it’s getting to expensive , keep up the good work buddy

Is it just me who's thinking , he wants how feckin much!!😂. Remember a few years back I almost bought a 1990 top of the range ( sure it was an Autobiography? ) For £ 300 , and it still ran perfectly.

Prices for old Land Rovers and Range Rovers are through the roof at the moment. I never paid more than £1500 for the old Land Rovers I used to buy (probably why I changed them so often as they were so affordable ) I'd keep one for 12 months, then sell it and buy another. I've owned close to 30 over the years. I can't buy a running, rolling restoration of a Landy that requires work for less than £3000 these days. At current prices, I reckon it would cost me nearly £200,000 to buy all my old Land Rovers back in the condition I sold them , and that's a conservative estimate !! It's ridiculous.
So sad to see these cars. Used cars are are so hard to fine. They can be fixed and saved. 😢 thank you for this video. Nice job.

Up to two years ago I had driven every BMW in the range , give me an Audi any day .

Crazy how a reg check on the v70 shows that the road tax ran out in 2012, the MOT ran out in 2011 last MOT'ed at 98k the last v5 was issued in 2007 when it was new so I'm guessing it was a one owner who done nearly 100k in nearly 4 years then it ended up here
I think it’s the 205 place that’s worth 2 grand. When you were looking under the Range Rover. You could see the rear 205 plate hanging down where it’s fallen off and underneath is the yes plate

in your video you see cars that you still see on the streets in everyday life. Why is it messing around like that? Here they still drive or are taken apart for the purpose of spare parts, but it's rare to let them rot like that here!
Even if they are a bit older, they are still worth a lot here.
That's why I love your visuals, because I can't or don't want to understand some things!!

Great video Stu .. Such a shame about some of these cars . That Range Rover gearbox issue is probably just needs a gearbox service (oil and filters etc ) . Looking forward to next one . P.S your dogs had me in stitches at the start .
Yes, first thing I thought as I'm watching it. Low mileage vehicle, so maybe just a change of ATF and filters - always try the cheapest and easiest option first.
The 10 plate focus estate is gonna be an ex North Wales Police car I reckon. They all had that reflector on the front wings

Cant remember which year it started but the 330d engines used to have major issues with timing chains.
Because they were at the back of the engine too it meant engine out to rectify.
Pretty sure knackered engines were the reason old plodd stopped using them.
That was the n47 20d mate not the n57. Started from late 2006 upto present day. The n57 is a lot more reliable, chain issues arnt unheard of but not at all common.
The silver volvo V70 was registered in 1st May 2007 and has been sitting there since the first mot which expired on 14th June 2011

A field full of knackered old crap that some deluded old man wants a fortune for. Are we taking bets that any of those sheds are an economical repair prospect? It is all very well pointing at stuff and saying "what a shame" and "this should be back on the road" over and over again but we have no clue as to what it will take to actually get them on the road. The probable truth is those cars should be going to the breakers!
I had a b5 pd Passat years ago. I only scraped it as the dmf needed doing and it was uneconomical. But still going with 704k on the clock. Wish I’d never got rid

Good content Stu ! That Range Rover would be an expensive project. A slipping autobox is too late for a service and the body is rotten underneath.

Like a few others mentioned a lot of these cars shout ex-police or government. Both the Mondeos, the E46 320D and the black X5 could have easily been surveillance or undercover. They are all languishing among the weeds for good reason. Most of that stuff is mid-2000s fodder that you'll see on any banger circuit.
Well that 14 plate 330d definitely is. Put the reg in Google. Someone spent some money on it making look like an m sport as its not

What a great place - sad to those cars sitting there especially see the BMWs and Volvo. Nice that the owner came out and allowed you to continue. Would be great if someone buys the Range Rover as a result of seeing it in here!!

The BMW 3 series is Ex West Midlands police with swapped m sport bumpers and interior. Still has the standard halogen headlights
The white BMW is a 330d, so it will fly. Looked quite high spec to me. The Range Rover has that 205 plate, and was last MOT’d in 2019. Seems to me the owner can’t say no….😀
If you can next time bring a jumper box and try to power it up

Mad how places like that exist..that range rover has had some pretty shoddy repairs to that cill and under the rear arch

Great find , I think scouting cars for commission maybe the way to go, but that range rover might have a ladder chassis like the landies in which case, to repair even the surface rust,you'd have to remove the body first, I think the pick of the bunch for me is the volvo 4 ×4,

Range Rover is beyond saving, would break quite well, and the private plate on the front would make it worth while for someone with the space IF it comes with the car, though you need a valid MOT to take it off iirc.

I'm from Canada. From what I know this isn't a thing here where cars are left to rot because they have a mechanical issue. They would be sold to someone like Copart or a wrecker that can part them out and help give life to other cars that haven't been given up on. I DON'T UNDERSTAND??

Good content, hoping that as a result of the video some of the cars get moved on and repaired. But and there usually is, most are now old and with low emission zones so many of these cars are going to get penalised and as such they aren’t as desirable as they may seem. Also the costs to get things repaired may well mean to get them fixed it’s not economical hence the reason why they got pushed to one side in the first place me thinks!

That RR would come up nice with a bit of TLC, some Lovin and putting to use.
That BMW.... heart breaker, might not be an old one or anything special, but she looks nice especially with the front lip kit. To many to save, want to save them all. The Mondeo.. urgh 1 dirty MOFO inside! Hope some folk can save some of those.

Am I the only one that thinks that the Range Rover is a rot box!. You can see the sill on the side he shows is rotten!. 4k for a rotten shell and slipping gearbox! But the engine is new and the plate is work 2k so well worth it 😉🤣🤣
