I live in Southern California and pelicans were almost extinct because of DDT. Years back some loon was catching them and cutting their beaks off. Horrible
Now they have made a comeback and I see them often. Love that.
Yeah i love the Pelican we have heaps in Australia such a majestic creature :-)
I’m almost 70 and I never saw a shortage of pelicans. They’ve always been plentiful.
@@BradSabako you are absolutely wrong. I'm 61, and grew up in the 60s-70s, you might want to do a little research before you say ridiculous things. Just search DDT and pelicans. I get you are 70 and most 70 year olds aren't great at the internet so I'll give you a pass. (Not trying to age shame you, just pointing out the obvious)
Its entirly possible that you never experienced a lack of pelicans, I stated, I'm from Southern california, and that DDT almost made pelicans extinct. ITs a fact thats supported by many articals on the internet, but also supported by my personal experience living on the coast in southern california for almost my entire 61 years on this planet and not seeing them till the past 10 years with rare exception. Now I can ride my bike down the coast and see a flock of them instead of just one on the pier tangled in fishing line.

I agree...designer brand outlet stores jack up the price and toss out a 50-60% sign on their goods. I think these types of stores cater to the wealthy tourists that are used to paying inflated prices on designer goods in their home country. Most of the items shown are still more expensive than what I can get here in the U.S. after the sale price! 🙄

It's mixed. The outlet prices for RL linen there are just as expensive as full price in the US, the shirts are a better deal there.
The linen did seem very expensive, polo shirts in bangkok i pay about 2500-3000. So the price of that CK tshirt was crazy, lucky for som they had that cheap polo shirt for offer 100thb

Hi Jonny, fellow Aussie coming over for an extended trip soon. Have never been to Hua Hin so have booked to stay for a couple of weeks during Song Kran. Will be staying at a hotel on Chomsin road. Is that a good part of town? Is it near the park you have in your video? Where is the best area for Song Kran there? Cheers
Songkran is awesome. I've been there with my wife over in Phayao, where there were only 3 other foreigners besides myself. You're going to love those water games.
Hi Mate Chomsin road can go pretty far like Hin Lek Fai outlook if i think the area where you will be staying it is like a 15 - 20 min walk into main town or about 5 mins on a motorbike. I think for a couple of weeks it would be fine, just maybe think about hiring a bike. I normally hide for 2 days over songkran but this year i have a new big secret weapon so you will def see me out lol
Thanks, I did do Song Kran in Chiang mai around 2015 and to be honest, after the fourth day I needed a rest. From what I’ve heard, Chiang mai does go a little harder than a lot of other places for that festival. I thought Hua Hin would still be fun but perhaps not as intense as Chiang mai.
