    I think this is your niche Grant - do lessons with Good Good members, give lessons to fans/randoms, etc.! A lot of golf viewers through Good Good need more ways to learn about game improvement, I think you're the guy to do that! Stephen does the course, Matt/Bubbie are comedy, Garrett/Micah are matches and you're golf ed. Loving the channel, best of luck!

    • @lokidecat
      @lokidecat 3 ปีที่แล้ว +22

      The best part is where he explains, "it's not the slide, it's the rotation" bit.. because that's so critical to someone saying they just need to fire the hips forward to hit a good ball.. no.. you HAVE to rotate in a coil with a constant low point.. but he's saying it's a special circumstance.. it's responsible coaching.

    The internet swing coaches are going to pick your lesson apart because of your verbiage. But here’s the thing. A good swing coach knows there is a difference between “feel” and “real”. Also a good swing coach has the ability to give his/her student information in a format that the student can understand. And every student will understand uniquely.

    Just wanted to say that the tips in this video helped me hit a bit more solid with my irons. Although I have more of a tendency to hit a straight pull, a couple of things that helped me groove my swing a bit better in my practice session this morning came from this video and the Good Good Labs vid on the the takeaway. I kept my takeaway low and slow and in the correct position outside my hands, and I used the feeling of a slight pause at the top of my swing combined into the "slide" feeling mentioned in this video. It really helped me feel that turn and drive down into the ball. Although I'm still pulling a bit, it was much better than last week's session, and the yardages are longer and more consistent. Way better feeling of clean strikes and power from this move. Thanks and keep it up!

    I actually observed Garrett's swings in slow-motion on his really good drives and he does this beautifully. I've been emulating it in my own swings and started getting my drives to be a lot more consistent in terms of shot shape and distance control. I've once again started shooting in the mid to high 70s after a long break from golf. Grant nailed this concept in this video. Bubbie has great speed... can't wait to see him play some real rounds with you both especially in scramble formats.

    You're not only teaching Bubbie, but all of us as well! I learnt a lot from that

    Grant…you are a fantastic teacher. Took the tips you gave Bubbie to the range today and my slice turned to a fade turned to straight with 40 shots of my driver.

    Excellent lesson. Really enjoyed you working through bubbies really exagerated slice. Great lessons for anyone trying to develop more of a pure swing and some great mental notes!

    This is awesome!!! I haven't played since I got home from Afghanistan 10 years ago. I want to pick it back up again and do lessons because my kids have shown an interest.

    Honestly, best good good member. Such a positive attitude that'll make you go far with anything you're doing even outside golf. Keep it up bro👍🏼

    Really love this video NO ONE on TH-cam breaks down the swing like this.. They just tell you what to do not how to fix what you are doing..

    Awesome video, it’s amazing how such a simple thing can change so much! Congrats Bubbie!

    This video is explaining the same exact problem I have going on too. I was just an arm swinger and I am working on my hip rotation but I keep slicing really bad. I’m gonna try to slide movement as well. Thanks Grant!

    Love to see more instructional videos from you. Watching your swing alone has helped lately.👍

    So nice to see the smile on Bubbie's face. He hit it so far. I have struggled myself with a slice. Ended up being so frustrated that I quit golf and took a 10 year break. Have only been playing a few rounds on Pay & Play over the last Seasons. Have been hitting the driver with a small fade. Now I just have to get some more speed in my swing. Actually my swing speed changes so much that I can hit a 5 Iron one moment and then the same distance with a PW. Have to figure it out

    Awesome video. Glad to see Bubbie crushing it now, and honestly it kind of helped me too.

    Grant, thank you so much. I come from baseball (wasn’t good at that either) but now that I see this video I understand my slice. Going to go practice this once I get the chance again. Going to start going to a range and get all aspects of my game dialed in before playing an actual round again

    Like Bubbie’s feedback on driver ‘want to feel wide…keeping back to target’ that’s good right there thank you
