I loved this - good timing as I have a client shoot tomorrow. I'd LOVE to see a video about shooting video in an external (non-studio) setting, for example, at a restaurant? Really love your teaching style I often put together a storyboard with the client prior to, and then when we are there, make sure that we can see it come together through the shots taken.

I love that you’re getting more into video Joanie! You covered some great points, I especially loved that you mentioned how important is is to double check your shooting settings because it’s so frustrating to have to reshoot 😂 but a very easy mistake to make!

I'm gonna be making a note of all these questions and get them answered by my clients ...so helpful !
One thing I've noticed is that a lot of clients just want the videos to go viral and get a lot of views irrespective of the shots taken..more priority guven to the insta trending audios.. it's frustrating for me

Great material! And some of this you might discover by getting examples from them of what they like but I also ask if they want it kind of dark and moody or bright and cheery. If they need I can always show them examples of both

Thank you so much so speaking about making video for client on your channel 🤗☺️ Also, I like to ask what kind of music they like and want in the video! And also do they want sound effect (like the sound of the water pouring into the glass, etc). It is the part of the editing process but it is good to have that in mind when we are shooting ☺️

I said the same thing to a client about having horizontal and vertical recipe Video from one shoot. We decided on horizontal and square. I like to ask them if they have any inspiration video/photos and about their brand/company in general.

Hi! Hello Joanie. I'm having some trouble exporting video files for instagram. I mean.. on the computer they look great, they are 1080 x 1920, vertical. And then when I export them and post them, they look really bad... Is this a topic on your online class about shooting videos for clients?

We are ALL sinners that fall short of the glory of God. And we ALL are deserving of eternal punishment in hell because sin is so serious (it’s the cause of all pain, death, and suffering). And that’s why Jesus willingly died on the cross for all our sins and rose from the dead three days later! That we may have eternal life with Him if we repent (to turn away from our sinful life, and turn to Jesus Christ the Lord our God and Savior) and trust in Him (that He will save us ONLY because of what He did on the cross, we are saved by grace through faith)!!! And don’t wait because either because you do not know when you will die (just really think about that, you have NO CLUE when you will die! it’s could be tonight in your sleep or even in the NEXT HOUR!) That’s why God is calling you RIGHT NOW today to receive the gift of salvation!!!IlI
