Just sold a 2019 model Africa Twin Adventure Sports and bought an immaculate 2003 CB500s with 6000 genuine miles. It’s a minter!

Mine is 1994..candy red..cruises at 120kph all day long..delkvick exhaust really gives her a little extra on take off (and sounds great)..she wipes the floor of any other bike in her class...yayyy..!
Best part of this bike is the sound!!!! I really love it!!!
I swapped my KTM Duke 690 for a CB 500, despite being less powerful, I enjoy it more
What did you prefer about if? And what was better on the duke?
I'm getting one for my first 500, getting a fully rebuilt and well looked after 98 model for £900
It’s still an awesome bike indeed. Mine has 44k kilometers now and still runs like new - you can totally hand sport bikes riders their asses with it.
I got one since this year 💪🏻
The only negative thing i can say about the bike is the lack of torque at low revs in 2nd gear that difficults low speed sharp corners but besides that is all that you need for any ocasion (apart from insane circuit speeds). Reliability is incredible with little maintnace. Mine is 65000km and starts up every weekend. The only thing went bad was the alternanater but cheap to fix.

I had mine for just over 3 years, I regret selling her now, that said my KLE500 is more suited to my off road needs.

Holy cow Top speed is 130+ mph??? My 2019 CB500f barely hits 100mph, Honda going backwards? ☹️☹️
Ha ha! I've owned a few of these older CB500s and they are NOT capable of more than 115mph. They're still quicker, faster, lighter and more powerful than the 2013-on CB500 twins, but this review is very optimistic :-)
@@team-badseeds If you have a healthy engine, you can easily hit 120mph with the 57hp stock version. If you swap a sprocket, 130+ is no problemo my yellow friend.

This kick ass little bike is the dog's balls. Apparently the Honda guys never meant for it to be this good.
Mine has 87K on the clock and just needs the headgasket doing now
