Sometimes i like to go back here. This bike always amazes me. Especially that never ending revving! Looks like it’s going to hit the rev limiter but every time it gets higher and higher!
My CB500 wobbles a bit too. I thought something might be wrong with it but I guess that's just how they are! I've had mine for 2.5 years and touched a peg down for the first time last week. Only a little kiss but it felt good. Interesting to see that there's still a bit of tyre left by the time you're down that far, so that inspires a bit of confidence.

@@GeorgeTsiros Hagon are considered best (and is what the people who race thee bikes generally use) as you can specify the spring rate, but i have mid-level YSS on mine (as i prefer their looks). These have absolutely transformed the handling after the previous owner's Hagons had worn out. My CB has 110,000 miles on it (with a 70,000 mile engine) and although little things on it either fall off or need replacing occasionally, it still goes, accelerates, turns, bounces, and stops as it was designed to. (Yes - your dad's original Showa shocks definitely need to be replaced!)

Stupid expensive (cost more than I paid for the whole bike back in 2020, but I'm in so deep now with having everything powder coated etc etc etc that I just figured "why not?") but REALLY good. Yes! Great riding. I'd a CB500 for a few years. I didn't ride it anywhere near as well you but i still distinctly remember the sound of scrapping pegs and that cracking little twin at full bore. +aserta true that. I'm reaching speeds with my CB which the TT guys are doing in first gear almost. Riding the CB fast is so god damn easy. It's impossible to leave the comfort-zone speed-wise. Most people wouldn't believe how much fun she is to ride because she is so damn forgiving and easy to flick around. That's why I try never to brag about my riding. Doing the same thing on a "proper" (bigger) bike, that would be truly impressive.
