- I was fishing for King Salmon with bobber and eggs under a bridge. After catching trout with eggs, I got a nice Chinook. The underwater bite footage was awesome. I've been filming more underwater fish bites for you lately. Especially the underwater egg bites have been enjoyable! This was not really a video on how to catch king salmon, but rather a fun day out on the water. I was on that sandy beach @ 00:30 seconds into the video just this morning. I had just cast out into the current when a 20 inch coho swam right along the edge of the water!

I used to fish for kings and silvers further down river towards the pacific highway bridge, Boeing, and the 1st Ave bridge, the salmon are still chrome down there.

NW Fishing Secrets I mostly fish around the JBLM area but I’ve fished most of the lakes within 25-30 miles of here.

Ive been fishing in the rivers up and over in aberdeen/ hoquiam great fishing
We got them allover out here in northwest Indiana I live 15 min from Lake Michigan and they are always in trail creek biting like crazy lol lots of fun to catch

I've been passing over them bridges almost everyday since the mid-seventies and have never seen that river get crowded.
@@bobbystrobel4061 about two years back on our last humpy run, a well known spot had 50 people down there and fishing was just awful. Got too crowded.

@@NWFishingSecrets I live in AZ. Moved back to Phoenix from Seattle in 2010. I love Washington but Arizona is home now. Hunting is great here. Fishing isn't bad either but mainly warm water species. So now when I get a bobber down it's usually a sunfish or a bass. Kids love it though and easy for the kids.

It happens every year down there. I land a king and some knucklehead yells at me to let it go. All they have to do is read the regs. Regulations change every year.

Life really living the life
VANCOUVER BC is blessed with the Fraser River and a ton of tributaries that feed it. With a metro area of approx 3 million we can catch salmon. Dollies. Steelhead trout all along the shoreline. The farser has all Salmon species including the biggest run of Sockeye return in North America.. I have relatives in the shoreline area of Seattle and enjoyed many times fishing the eastern area of Seattle love it. And I did buy a license.
I have that same fishing pole. Fairly cheap and works pretty good !

The wife and I enjoy your videos. If you ever get dive certified I will take you spear fishing out in the Puget Sound when its in season. Perhaps we could meet up for beers and crab pots at one of the fishing docks.
when you had the waterwolf hooked up you needed to set your depth quite a bit deeper, the king that actually took the bait just happend to notice the eggs way above him and rise up to check them out and eventually take them... that hole was loaded with fish like some can usually be. set your depth quite a bit deeper and you'll have more action for sure.

Just found your channel, I’m out in the Olympic Peninsula in Poulsbo. I know you don’t mention rivers/lakes by name, just looking for a little advice on channels for beginners. My son is seven and wants to get into fishing, and I never grew up fishing myself. I’d like to find a spot we could go and hopefully have a little success to keep him excited and interested.
Hey, glad you found my channel! I would absolutely start him off with fishing for easy to catch species. Come May, the fishing will pick up big time here in WA. Try for Flounder/Flatfish in the Puget Sound, Trout in stocked lakes & ponds, and definitely panfish in local lakes. Perch, Crappie, & Sunfish is the bread and butter of getting kids into fishing 👍 Hope this helps! Welcome to the NWFS crew 🎣

Bout that time to start some new salmon videos, we brought the jet sled up in there from the lower launch bobbin and weaving through all the nets. I’m surprised fish even make it up with the way they net that !!!! Let’s go fish sometime 🤙🏻
