oh ya that sound v10..... bacj then i was living in Montreal and you can ear them from miles now v6 electric sound like old tracker v10:sexy girl v6hybride: tea
What a beast! I will never forget this sound! Like Mark Webber said, it took some serious balls to drive these cars round some corners, and you can see why.
@@kaydixon3579 the only ones from the actual grid that can actually tame the v10 without too much problems are vettel, hamilton and alonso since hamilton tested the v10 in 2004 with the mp4/19b and vettel tested the williams bmw fw27 in 2005 and alonso debuted in the v10 era and was the wdc on the last year of the v10
This V10 FW26 Engine was engineered alongside the P60B40 V8 wich was used inside the M3 E46 GTR. Two of the most legendary and powerfull engines BMW ever made + best sounding engines.
FW26 is a Williams car not an engine. that P84-5 engine was legendary and we'll never hear that sound in competition ever again. We have to make do with an S85 these days.
Grande Montoya! In my top 4 of all Time🦾🦾 In CART he was already an awesome driver in F3 too, agressiv, super fast, Always smart but sometimes a bit to much on fire and his brain turn off🔥💥🇨🇴
Best sound ever and expecially in Williams BMW with that sinergy between the engine and the gear transmision. Loved it, but lost a lot of nerves cheering for them.
@rahulscm3329 what happened to them was nothing less than karma. After Ayrton's horrific crash and death that was caused by a shoddy amendment to the steering column, Williams did not fair so well. They knew what they did, they killed a legend. Anyway, JPM was a fantastic driver and yes that engine sound is awesome. Personally I'm more of a Ferrari and McLaren fan now. I miss the days of driver skill. X😢
the best team ever, i miss
Holy shit. This is some serious engine sound. What a lovely roar!
THAT SOUND, BRING BACK THAT SOUND. DONT CARE ABOUT THE REST :) Thank you

Jean Todt himself said that the F1 has to be greener in the future. F1 is dead, simple as that - even Liberty Media can't change the fact.

Any current F1 driver can tame these in a few laps. Don't always quote the perennial 2nd driver.

90s f1 and earlier was much harder: manual gearbox with clutch, no active suspension, no power steering, minimal electronics.
Best sounding F1 car at all time!!

Real racing! No DRS... just pilot + engine.
What's the point of having real racing if you don't get any racing
amazing sound of V10 BMW...

Interesting how even with barely holding front wing in its place it still got enough downforce to not lose much time in corners
V10 and 20K rpm...
1:44 el cielo en cuanto a sonido.
5:18 you can see Montoya trying to get pass klien but he can’t get pass him but he did got by him at 5:41

My favourite sounding formula 1 car of all time. Damn I miss those days.
Engine sound when idling is too brutal .....
front spoiler flapping about like a piece of ham but he still keeps up with the pack?
Who needs a front wing anyways?
Sandro Martins its important for aerodynamics and downforce but it didnt made big difference because BMW F1 was the most powerful car in the race
I was not speaking literally. It's funny though how a williams with a broken front wing was faster than the backmarkers of the time.
this williams with a broken front wing is probably faster than their current car
It’s still able to direct air around the tyres that’s why he’s keeping up
Bac when f1 was f-juan
Miss that sound..
Bmw engine was a beast!
1:57 hahaaah Montoya in his element
4:55 the fights you get when you got no boring DRS
Juan doing a Maldonado to Ralph befote it was cool
car7000 😂
this makes me wonder where all the formula one footage pre f1tv 2018 resides and/or why they will not release it..
That engine had to be tamed
V10, 19000 giri, IL TOP.
FARQ !! He crashed the first corner but got away with it.
👑BMW f1 v10 ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I don't care about Montoya
I just love this engine sound, probably one of the best
BMW use to have the angriest and best sounding v10 from them all. ()()
Sounded like this because of JPM
Boom Ralf get outta the way, get outta the way!
Can anyone remember who was in the jag was it eddie lrvine
No, Eddie retired in 2002, in 2004 the drivers were Mark Webber and Christian Klien
esto era potecia
Like 900 hp 125 nothing below 8,000
Damaged front wing flapping about and still faster than today's hippy-piss hybrids
